'The Snug was very comfortable and well equipped. It was also very clean. I could not work the shower but I did not contact the owner so I am sure it would have been sorted if I had. 'Very tired hotel! Geo thermal pool is not geo thermal. Rooms are untidy and dirty. We had ‘willies’ drawn in to the bathroom mirror. Screws in the wall but paintings in the wardrobe. ?? Carpet was dirty and other guests rubbish still on the floor. Curtain rail was broken and hanging off the ceiling so curtain would not shut properly. Spa was very tatty. We were told on checkout that the hotel had only recently been purchased and was being renovated but that was not advertised. If you are going...

'We had reason to request to move room and the staff were very accommodating and looked after us well - top marks for that. The evening dinner (pie of the day) was actually unexpectedly excellent and the accompanying veggies were nice and crisp - very enjoyable. The only minor quibble was that due to TV mounting it was next to impossible to get a HDMI stick plugged in (something maybe to check into). Anyhow, all in all, nicely situated and a nice place to stay at and all the staff we encountered...
