Floor 2 room apartment up to 5 persons 65m² The idyllic Baltic Sea resort Laboe (5500 inhabitants) is picturesquely located at the exit of the Kiel Fjord on the eastern shore. The former fishing village has developed into a popular holiday resort and seaside resort. Laboe is an ancient place and was mentioned for the first time in 1240. The name Laboe derives from the Slavic "Lubodne", which means "Schwanenort". And even today, the Swan is Labo's beast. The long, fine sandy beach falls very flat to the fjord, so it is especially recommended for families with small children. Directly on the beach promenade is the adventure pool. With the Kiel Fjord, one of the most frequented waterways in the world, in front of the doorstep, the "Strandleben" offers a special attraction also for "Sehleute", which can observe the ships passing by extensively. The panorama of Laboe is surmounted by the world-famous 85 m high naval monument. In this memorial is reminded of the fates of all the people who remained at sea and is to commemorate a peaceful sea voyage on the open seas. From above, the visitor has a wonderful view over the fjord and the Baltic Sea. At the foot of the memorial has been the submarine U 995 for several years as a technical museum. The Kinofilm "Das Boot" plays on a submarine, which belongs as well as U 995 of the famous class VII C. A visit to U995 provides an impressive insight into the indescribable narrowness of the submarine men. The Kiel Fjord is known as the Kielmekka ("Kieler Woche"). In the immediate vicinity lie the Danish islands Langeland and Aero, the so-called "Danish South Sea". In Labo Marina, exhausted sailors find rest and relaxation.

We attach great importance to comfort and a refined ambience. Built in 1995, our main house with reception and bar is situated in a quiet location directly on the beautiful spa park of Laboe. All our apartments have been awarded 3 stars. In the 1st. Floor is the large roof terrace with deckchairs, seating groups and a barbecue area. The house is located in an excellent location only 80m from the beach promenade and the kilometer-long east beach of Laboes. The fine sand beach with shallow water zones offers children an ideal bathing paradise. It is also only a few minutes' walk to the Labo harbor and to the seawater swimming pool which you can use daily. The wonderful view of the Kiel Fjord will inspire you in your holiday. Your bicycles can be safely stored with us. An in-house car park for your car and a bicycle rental are available. We rent year round!
