Great modern luxury apartment in La Spezia
The First is a very nice small apartment complex in a lively area in La Spezia. The very nice host Andrea went out of his way to make our trip very great. We were given great Cinque Terre tips and suggestions for restaurants. The hotel is very clean and modern. The only thing I would change is a little more privacy by having the bathroom window closed. Bathrooms are best when they're private. Had a great experience overall!

We take pride in the structure the location but also our staff dedication towards each guest making their stay as unforgettable as can be. Concerning the bathrooms sorry you didn’t enjoy, the idea is to have light space and be modern but of course each one of us is different. Air conditioning didn’t work and a lot of amenities were extra like soap, water etc. the WiFi also didn’t work. good location and great communication with owner. Great for couples It was also quite close to a main road and a lot of noise of a night time.

Attention à la réservation sans annulation
Réservation effectuée avec des dates erronées suite à une redirection sur un prix plus intéressant par la plate-forme Hotels.com. J'ai téléphoné dans les 10 minutes qui ont suivi pour faire l'annulation mais je n'ai pu me faire rembourser ni la chambre, ni les petits dejéuner ni les taxes de séjour pour un séjour que je ne pouvais honorer. Au total, perte de 352 euros. Je suis tout de même aller dans cet hôtel à mes dates initiales. La chambre était propre. Il s'agit d'un hôtel sans réelle réception puisque c'est une partie d'un étage d'un immeuble qui est dédiée à l'hôtel. On entendait malheureusement les gens de la chambre d'à côté mais ça criait fortement. Le petit-déjeuner ne se prend pas sur place et il n'est nullement indiqué cela quelque part. L'hôtel est cependant bien situé.

Beautiful location, great restaurants close to apartment. Very clean and close to the waterfront park. We truly enjoyed our time here. Bonus, the safe was stuck with our passports and they came out on a Sunday afternoon to rescue us. Best communication and went above and beyond what we expected. Highly recommend.

sometimes it's really difficult to understand how dishonest people are. We never advertised a King bed or a parking so how can you expect them? to be more comfortable we have royal suites but if you want to save money and then complaint it's your problem

Interesting Property
hotel is actually an office suite with 6 rooms. unattended. Issue is if you need a taxi/other. Walking distance to train if no bags. New, but it got it done nicely and great AC!

I didn’t like the self check inn system in fact when I booked I had no idea it was a self check inn The address on line was different that the one that was sent to me on wathsapp it was two different buildings it was very confusing it would have been very nice to have someone with the keys welcoming you the room was very clean the bed comfortable room and bathroom kind of small location very convenient

Central apartment
Central place in La Spezia with good walking distance to restaurants and train station (about 15 min walking). About 15 min away from good parking spaces in a parking garage (15 euro per day). Good place to stay if you just need a place to sleep

Don't fool by other negative comment. This is one of the best place when I stay in Italy. It is about 15 mins walk or 5 mins taxi ride from La spezia train station. I did not drive but see plenty of parking around. there is also public bus station right at the building. Owner of the unit provided clear instruction on how to get in to building and how to get the room card. we communicate by whatsapp but im not sure if it is the only way to talk. lobby is little dark but nothing to worry about. there is elevator so you dont need to take your luggage up. once you enter the unit, it is a different world, very modern and comfortable. there are 4 rooms and i dont hear anything from other rooms. in conclusion i would recommend this place for anyone who visit Cinque Terre.

If you want to be DISAPPOINTED stay here!
- No WhatsApp don’t book as this is the only form of communication you have with the owner. - Hotels.com states concierge service there was NONE, the room was located inside a residential apartment block with no obvious signage, NOT a HOTEL or even a B&B this it is a room sectioned off in an apartment. -Contacted via whatsapp and sent photos of lock boxes where each time a different key or card was obtained to be able to access the room, you don’t meet any concierge you are rather sent on a treasure hunt. - Free offsite parking hotels.com states, this is not the case, the off-site parking is the street and good luck, parking is scarce and small. Be aware this apartment does not have it’s own parking. - At 11pm the apartments power went out and people we unable to get into their room with their swipe card, we were told by 2 random people who were attempting to open peoples room with a key that the owner would be their in 10 minutes to fix the power, the owner never showed and their was a code to a lock box that was sent via whatsapp to all guest that opened an emergency box at the front of the apartment that held keys that could open everyone’s room BE AWARE this box could be opened by anyone staying in the room and meant that your room could have been opened and accessed by any number of strangers, VERY SCARY. - Air conditioner didn’t work. Whole experience lack lustre save your money and just stay else where

Dear Gavin it’s very strane that you didn’t write there was an important problem with the electrical system that night that’s not common but you have time to publish pics of our self check in box, is this useful? A member of our staff was there assisting guests who had problem with electricity and this was not your case . In the emergency box there are emergency keys but if you are inside your room with the keycard inserted in the pocket no one can open the door so what is scary? Are you a drama Queen? Probably yes

Very disappointed. We booked based on available parking. The ad said offsite FREE parking. It was expensive. There is no front desk - so need to self check in using whatsapp. When I inquired I found the responses rude. Although the room was clean it was expensive considering no one is onsite

Great apartment - independent stay
Loved the apartment, modern, nice design and super clean, fancy toiletries. Good location near the harbour, although good to note for a short stay is far end of town from station. Self check in was easy, good instructions and host was responsive to any queries. Not sure where the main building where any facilites is though, could not find any details about this (although we dis not need anyway).

Boa localização, no centro. Muitos restaurantes perto. Usamos de base para ir a cinqueterre. Não tem recepção no local,, então o contato foi feito por e-mail e WhatsApp, mas com horário de atendimento limitado, mas deixaram telefone para entrar em contato caso necessário. Ponto negativo: wifi fraquissimo. As vezes funcionava na porta de entrada. Dentro do quarto não funcionou. Sugestão: deixar pelo menos 1 garrafa de agua cortesia. Tinha 3 garrafas de agua, todas pagas. A cápsula de café da cafeteira também tinha que pagar. Não achei isso gentil, até pelo preço da diária.

We checked in late as our train didn’t arrive until 10:30 p.m. beware-as these people won’t help you after 5:00 pm. The door knob handle was off the door and on the floor when we arrived. We couldn’t get into the room. Both Expedia and myself called the owners several times and no one answered. They refused to credit our fees-even when we couldn’t get into the room due to a facility issue. The owner called me hysteric and dramatic and could have cared less that my family of four almost had to sleep on the hallway floor. We called 22 places and finally found ONE that could accommodate as at midnight. I’ll be disputing this charge as there is no way I am paying for this horrible experience and rude owners.

we accept all reviews but not those false. check in is open till 8 pm but if you arrive 10.30 pm and you are not able to open one door that is used by all other guests it's not our fault. You wrote histerric messages to us and again you lie because you wrote us that Expedia found for you an home not at midnight. we are waiting for you disputation and good luck

It’s a three story walk up and the elevator does not work. The rooms are as they appear, nice and modern. The facility in a decrepit multi use building, it has not been painted in years, a window is out covered with dirty plastic. We walked away, they refused a refund.

Clean, comfortable and good location
Very clean and comfortable. Communication via WhatsApp was quick, self check-in & check out was easy. Building is secure and in a good location near the marina and driving distance to all the sites. I was concerned after reading bad reviews online but we had no issues at all in the honeymoon suite and loved our stay.

Avoid this hotel from hell. Don’t be deceived by the photos. Although it’s centrally located, the building where it’s located is very old and dark and feels kind of creepy. Aircon doesn’t work, no blanket, kettle and zero service. The room feels cold and has lots of strange noises during the night. We even experienced 3 temporary blackouts. Staff totally rude and unhelpful and even threatened to cancel our reservation and indeed he did cancelled the last 2 days of our reservation.

Hi we understand that you are completely stressed but your opinion is completely false. Aircondition is not working in autumn. blankets are in the closet, kettle is no part of the facilities of the room but if you ask it's provided, we assisted you with all your crazy no sense questions and we didn't cancel your reservation you decided to leave. Enjoy your life !!!

Quarto com muita dificuldade de acessibilidade. Não a estacionamento na acomodação, e nas proximidades é bem difícil de encontrar. Falta de recepção física e de assistência nos finais de semana. Ar condicionado do quarto ruim. A energia ficou oscilando a noite inteira nos dois dias de estadia. Caia a luz a cada 30 minutos. Decepcionante.

It was a hassle as far as there is very limited parking The spots around front door are very few Had to park 2 blocks away. Bring suits cases to room. Took 2 trips. Take care to Porto Morello about 10 m away for overnight paid parking

The property is around 20 min from the train station. Taxi cost around 15-18 euros. If you like to walk and if you have good luggage with wheels, we recommend to walk and get familiar with the area. We spent 2 days as a base to go to cinqueceterre. The building facade is going through renovation and we were surprised we were not told about it but it was not disturbing at all. The room was spacious and very clean. My mother in law loved the coffee machine, foam maker for the capuchino and the breakfast taken to our room was delicious!
