The Space:
This 2BR/2BA condo at Torres Cantera is inside a 24/7 gated residential area that sits on a location on top of a small hill overlooking La Paz Bay. That elevation gives you some of the best views of the bay and the Sea of Cortez. The development includes two swimming pools, a gym, movie theater, covered parking and beautifully manicured grounds. Plus the condo is situated close to the famous sights and attractions in La Paz, grocery, convenient stores, shopping and more! Getting Around:
The condo is about 17 miles | 10.6 km or about a 30-min drive to/from the Airport (LAP) and a it’s a 2.5 hour drive or 123 miles | 198 km to/from San Jose del Cabo International Airport (SJD).

Other Things to Note:
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The area experiences water shortages where at times you can be without water for 4-5 hours. Recycled water is an easy alternative to help us, and the environment, with the shortage of water resources. We ask that you please use water consciously, turning it off when it's absolutely not needed and recycle your shower water for times when needed to flush the toilet. (Simply place the bucket under the running shower while you wait for the water to warm up and use it later, if needed, to flush the bathroom).

Please refrain from consuming food or beverages in the living room.

Please note that the parking is not covered during the storm season between June and November.

Please follow all pool rules at the complex. All guests must wear swimwear. Entry to the pool area is permitted only when wearing suitable swimwear.

Please note that the pool is not heated.

Wi-Fi, Smart TV, bed linens, bath towels and some essentials are provided free for guests during your stay.

The TVs are equipped with streaming services to provide various entertainment options. Please note that cable channels are not available.

We provide some basic essentials complimentary upon arrival (note: these are not replenished): drinking water, a roll of paper towels, a set of napkins, a sponge, liquid soap & trash bags. And in each bathroom, you’ll find a roll of toilet paper, some liquid hand soap, a bar of soap for the shower, shampoo, and bath towels.

Please keep in mind that any damaged or lost items such as towels, sheets, blankets, broken armchairs, furniture or wall stains will be charged at the time of check out.

Electricity is not included for long-term stays of 15 nights or more. There’s a $56 USD weekly electricity fee - payable on the day of your check-in.

A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.

Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.

There is a penalty of $20.00 USD for late check-outs.

HOUSE RULES:
- Please note that the pool maintenance is scheduled every (Tuesday & Friday). We'll kindly ask you to grant access to the maintenance staff, there is no specific time for this service. (the maintenance service may be subject to changes)
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind is allowed on the premises. Smoking tobacco, cannabis or the use of any recreational drugs in the house is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during your stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Please avoid sitting on the sofas while wearing wet clothes - this practice stains fabrics and creates mold. You will be responsible for any damages made to the furniture during your stay.
- Please close and lock all doors and windows upon check out. By failing to do so you will incur a penalty of $50 USD.

To ensure full transparency, we want to let you know that the upkeep of common areas is managed by the complex administration. While we strive to provide an excellent experience, the condition of these areas is beyond our control. By sharing this in advance, we aim to keep your expectations aligned and maintain the high standards we are committed to.

Please note that you may hear dogs barking during your stay, as some neighboring homes have dogs.

As a precaution, please do not lock the interior doors, as we do not have keys to open them if needed. If locked, we would need to call a locksmith and guests would be responsible for covering the fees.

Interaction with Guests:
This is a self-check-in property. First, note, the residential area is guard gated. You’ll need to drive to the visitor’s gate on the right to get checked in by the guard and then continue on to the condo building. The condo building, Torres Cantera, where you’re staying also has controlled gate access entry. All the access information and codes if needed will be sent to you within 24 hours of your arrival.

You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, but we’re available 7 days a week. Should you need anything - just write us a message.

Great place, good location! Certainly a bit of a hike to the malecon, however a 5 min drive down.

I don’t normally give poor reviews but it’s also important to warn people and hopefully give the host some reason to fix problems. This place had a lot of problems, the worst of which in our opinion is the refrigerator did not work! We rent a condo over a hotel so we do not have to eat all our meals out. But this fridge kept things just barely cooler than room temp. Complained to host and was told someone would come look at it the next day. No one did. Complained again the day after and was told the same thing. We also had no water for our last day there. I understand this is a desert and sometimes water gets shut off… but a full day is a big problem. It didn’t help that the master toilet overflowed from the tank, spilling a large portion of the water from the hot water heater onto the floor. We were offered a 10% discount for the water problem, which seemed inadequate but was better than nothing. ALSO, the AC in the main room did not work at all. AND the infestation of tiny ants on nearly every surface was pretty annoying. Some attempt to control them would have been nice. The condo also could have been a lot cleaner although I wouldn’t normally complain about that if not for all the other issues. Overall, despite all this our stay was ok - if it had been longer we’d have had to move, however. The views are great as advertised and the pool is very nice - although the hot tub was not filled - but otherwise it was not at all what was advertised.

Incredible sunsets

The condominium’s location is excellent, close to the boardwalk, quiet, 24 hour security, parking spaces. Unfortunately, the unit was not completely clean, thus the first day we spent it cleaning. Communication with the host was not ideal as we had to send several messages to get a response. Overall a nice place to stay

Beautiful views

Great views of the bay and beautiful sunsets. Too far from the Malecon for our liking. Not walkable. Upon arrival in 97 degree temperatures we found two of three AC units were not working and spent first night sleeping on the couch in the living room where the one unit worked. Worked with property manager and all units were repaired the next day. Nice pool. Overall very good stay.

Location really necessitates having a car or using inDrive or Uber to do anything. Also manuals are needed for the operation of the washer/drier and the stove top.
