The Space
Located just 5 minutes from downtown La Fortuna, Villa Refugio 1 and Villa Refugio 2 are located side by side within the exclusive El Establo Condominium, which offers controlled entry with 24/7 security and QR code access, ensuring total privacy and tranquility during your stay. Additionally, there is a wide variety of nearby restaurants to suit every taste.

Villa Refugio 1, located near the entrance to the condominium, features a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a private full bathroom, and spectacular views of the Arenal Volcano from the bed and the terrace, which also provides access to the private hot tub. The living room has a sofa bed that can accommodate additional guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, utensils, and dishes, and is decorated in a warm and functional style.

Villa Refugio 2, right next door, offers a bedroom with a king-size bed and a private bathroom, as well as a second bedroom with a queen-size bed. This villa features a second full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed, a terrace overlooking the garden, and spaces ideal for larger groups who want to share without sacrificing comfort.

Guests can reserve the condo’s ranch at least 15 days in advance for events. This space includes a shared pool, a basketball court, and a nature trail where you can spot sloths, toucans, and other animals. A perfect setting to relax and enjoy nature without straying far from La Fortuna’s attractions.
Guest Access
All areas within the villa are for completely private use: this includes the master bedroom, the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom, the terrace, and, of course, the private hot tub and parking.

In addition, as part of the condominium, you can enjoy some common areas. These include the shared pool located at the ranch, the basketball court, and a beautiful nature trail where you can spot sloths, toucans, and many other animals.

It’s important to note that the ranch can be used freely as long as it isn’t reserved for an event. If you’d like to have exclusive use of the space for a special activity, reservations must be made at least 15 days in advance.

We ask that you maintain a quiet and respectful atmosphere in the common areas to ensure a pleasant experience for all residents of the condominium.
