'My family and I had a delightful stay in Carriacou in early May 2024. Dave, the host, called me a few days before our arrival and provided details regarding our stay, as well as things to do. 'Moira was a good communicator through WhatsApp. The sunsets were stunning and you could see the sail boats at Sandy Island. Mid day gets hot with no AC so we went to the beach and did exploring in the afternoons. Sleeping was comfortable enough under the ceiling fan.'

'If there was a 6 star option I would give 6 stars. Our stay was perfect. The location was great and secluded and Sue was an amazing host. She answered all our questions suggested things to do and places to eat. She communicated very well and made us feel so comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend get away. 'Situated in the hills about 20 minutes away from airport, Tyrell bay dock (ferry from Grenada) and Paradise beach. Quiet location, nicely maintained garden, overlooking the tropical vegetation around the house. Nice view from the balconies over to hills to the sea. We had the standard appartment. One room with kitchen, table and sofa and TV (better not to watch TV but to be on the terrace and enjoying the view and listening to the birds !!) Two bedrooms with baths. No AC, but ceiling fans....

'Nice cottage just a short walk from a small beach with occasional local visitors. The walk into Hillsborough is easy and a colorful immersion into the local scene. The breakfasts and dinners at the roundhouse are exceptional! Great place if you’re looking for a slower paced vacation!'

'De kamer en badkamer hebben een nieuwe inrichting nodig. Alles ziet er ouderwets uit en lijkt uit mekaar te vallen. Toen ik op het matras lag voelde ik de hele tijd wat steken. Waarschijnlijk moet die ook vervangen worden. Erg schoon is het niet, ik vond gebruikte soap bars in de badkamer. Beddengoed/baddoekken waren niet helemaal schoon.'

'Wir waren begeistert und werden wiederkommen! Die Chatham Bay ist eine ca. 2km lange Bucht auf der windgeschützten Seite von Union Island. Die Anreise ist nur per Fähre und dann per Wassertaxi (ca. 20 min) möglich. Oder als Segler. Es gibt keine regelmäßigen Flüge nach Union Island. Die Bucht hat durchgehenden Sandstrand, der nach ca. 10m über eine kleinere Felskante in tieferes Wasser übergeht. Durch diese Felskante ist die gesamte Bucht ein Schnorchelparadies.
