Ramayana is al een oud hotel, heel mooi, maar de kamers mogen wel een opknapbeurt hebben. Voor de rest, personeel is heel vriendelijk.

We hebben 8 verschillende hotels gehad op Bali maar deze had veruit het mooiste zwembad/tuin. Het strand is - 400 meter lopen. Mooi wit zandstrand maar het is meer bedoeld om te surfen dan te zwemmen. Op het strand hebben ze een klein stukje (je moet tussen de 2 rood-oranje vlaggen blijven) gereserveerd voor zwemmers. Het personeel is heel aardig.

Let op: dit hotel zit midden in een verbouwing
5 jaar geleden waren we ook in dit hotel, in de veronderstelling dat we dit jaar dezelfde kamer zouden krijgen op de begane grond, zit dit hotel nu midden in een mega verbouwing. Dit was dan ook best een teleurstelling, omdat dit ook nergens vermeld staat op jullie site. Hierdoor is de helft van het hotel niet beschikbaar en zijn de foto’s ook niet allemaal meer up to date. Er is maar 1 klein zwembad. Verder zijn de kamers prima, de ligging is perfect! Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze proberen er voor te zorgen dat er niets zichtbaar is vwb een verbouwing, maar wij hadden uitzicht op deze bouwput.

Prima hotel op goede locatie
Nog nooit zulk aardig personeel meegemaakt. Altijd vriendelijk met een grote lach op het gezicht! Prima hotel, goede locatie. Dichtbij strand, winkels en restaurants. Het enige wat ik miste was een fitness ruimte. Ook zijn ze aan het verbouwen, al vond ik het niet erg storend.

Locatie OK maar.....
Locatie, uitstekend, midden in het centrum vlakbij het strand. Als je een kamer aan het zwembad kant, geen last van het verkeer. Maar..... ! Daarnaast / de buren is er volop aan het bouwen. Net begonnen, zeker duurt het minimaal nog een jaar of 18 maanden. Overdags wel last van het lawaai en fijnstof. Kamers zijn gedateerd. Geboekt een Deluxe kamer maar de sanitaires zijn zo intensief gebruik en de "witte" baddoeken zijn zo grijs geworden. Na een klacht werd geüpgraded naar de Excutief Deluxe verdieping, kamer grootte hetzelfde, maar wel met een hemelse bed, sanitaires zijn ietsje beter uitzien maar nog steeds gedateerd. Personeel / Staffs zijn ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en warm.

Droomvakantie
We hebben 3 weken in het Ramayana Hotel gelogeerd. Ongeveer 300 m van de zee(Kuta Beach).Het hotel ligt enkele km van het vliegveld en staat pal in het centrum van Kuta en als bij wonder is er een mooie tuin rond de 2 zwembaden. Het is één van de oudste hotels van het eiland maar heel goed onderhouden.Wij lagen in een DELUXE KAMER in het gebouw (dat ligt aan de drukke Jalan Kartika Plaza) op de 2de verdieping, met terras en zicht op de tuin en zwembad.We hadden 2 ruime bedden, een zetel, een tafel en een stoel, een flat screen tv (45inch), een dvd speler, een wekker, een bank , een kleerkast met een brandkast, een kleine frigo en een waterkoker. In de badkamer een ligbad met douche boven en een toilet. Heel gezellig is het uitgebreide ontbijt dat dagelijks georganiseerd wordt in het goed verzorgde restaurant op het gelijkvloers van dit gebouw met zicht zowel op de drukke weg als op de tuin. Verder zijn er 3 zeer verzorgde extra toiletten op het gelijkvloers. Ook nog in hetzelfde gebouw zijn er een sportcafé voor de liefhebbers en een Italiaans restaurant waar het heel lekker is om te eten. We misten een Nederlands talige tv kanaal zoals BVN en we hebben dat ook aan de directie gemeld. Ook de wifi is niet altijd 100. We moesten regelmatig opnieuw inloggen. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. In de buurt zijn er vele eetgelegenheden. Het hotel ligt vlakbij een grootwarenhuis (de Matahari) en in de straat liggen nog 2 winkelcentra. De Discovery en de lippo Mall.

top hotel om even weg te dromen
Wij zijn al vaker in Kuta geweest en wisten dus wat wij konden verwachten. Wij wilden 5 dagen even tot rust komen maar ook niet te ver hoeven reizen als we naar het strand wilden of naar de winkels. En we wilden een hotel met een goed ontbijt en service. En ze hebben ons geen seconde teleurgesteld. Echt een super ontbijt. De kamer die wij hadden was executive maar een deluxe room is ook goed. Let wel op neem je deluxe wing dan zit je in een gebouw achter het hotel en heb je geen vrij uitzicht. Wat wij altijd zo fijn vinden aan dit hotel is dat als je bij het zwembad zit je niet in de gaten heb hoe dicht je bij alle drukte zit van Kuta, het is zo ontzettend rustig. Maar stap je het hotel uit dan sta je in de drukte en gezelligheid van Kuta. Ook is het erg fijn dat je niet perse het hotel uit hoeft omdat je alles bij het hotel kan vinden.

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf van drie weken gehad in dit hotel. Het personeel is uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

De kamers zijn heel netjes, comfortabel en zo koel je maar wilt. Ook is er zowel voor ontbijt als diner een grote variatie aan gerechten en het personeel hebben we als zeer vriendelijk ervaren. Wat we als aangenaam en bijzonder hebben ervaren is dat de eetzalen aan de ene kant bijna naadloos overgaan in drukke stadsleven op straat. Een waterpartij en wat planten vormen de scheiding en beletten een krantenverkoper niet om er even over heen te stappen. En aan de andere kant tuin en zwembaden voor wie iets rustiger wil ontbijten.

Room was dirty, bathroom especially, mouldy shower, cracked tiles around the bath, drain in the bath blocked so when you have a shower the bath fills up with dirty smelly water, bath towels supplied had holes in them as did the bed sheets, i requested a ground floor room our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the main street of kuta so was very noisy, couldn't sit out on balcony in the afternoon as it was to hot and there was no shade. We paid for breakfast but couldn't eat it as it was very disorganised and the food was cold and twice a rat came running out of the garden straight into the dinning room myself and the other guests had to sit with our feet up. Poor selection of food for room service we couldn't even order that to eat in our room we resorted to eating all our meals including breakfast out . For what we paid to stay there which should of included breakfast it was extremely disappointing and we will never stay there again or recommend it the other thing the king size bed was like sleeping on a slab of concrete it was so hard that my husband and i have both come away with sore backs, necks and shoulders

Stayed for one night on my way out from Bali. The place is very run down. Blinds that leak sunlight, lacking soundproofing, nothing to plug your cell phone on the bedside, and overall dusty motel feel. The reviews said it's a "quiet oasis of piece" but couldn't disagree more. I stayed on the top floor and listened to traffic noises and fireworks all night. Internet was spotty. I think it's ok for one night but would for sure not stay here for longer.

Hotel was good, Booking through Hotels.com was BAD
Hotel was great and very accommodative. However, booking through Hotels.com experience was absolutely bad. Booked the hotel as it was showing 65 sqm and it was just 35 sqm. The services that they were marketing were actually did not exists. qhen I complained to Hotels.com, they offered me to leave the hotel with two kids and book something else at the last minute. Blaming hotel for not offering services which didn’t even exist. I ended up staying with two kids in very small room for 5 nights as the other hotels were way too expensive to make instant bookings in Bali.

Hotellet var overordnet meget fint, dog vil jeg ikke sige at det lever op til 5 stjerne. Faciliteterne var fine men der var konstant en virkelig virkelig kraftig lugt af maling/sprit på værelset som man næsten ikke kunne holde ud at ligge i

We returned to this hotel after our first visit 10 years ago when we heard it was renovated. The rooms are large and comfortable, highly recommend the suite due to the features like water chiller, microwave and large fridge. Lack of minibar was suprising however less common these days in Bali. The bed and pillows were the best I have ever experienced, sleeping was an absolute pleasure on the bed thanks to the matress topper. The hotel has a good breakfast (not amazing) but definately handy before going out for the day. The pool was always clean and nice to swim, plenty of attendants around the pool. The two adjoining restaraunts are quite good and definately worth a visit. Some little touches were missing, we arrived in pouring rain at 3am and the lobby staff saw us arrive and didn't help unload heavy bags despite heavy rain. Luckily they were expecting us so we were able to checkin quickly. A very good option for value, although not sensational.

Absolutely loved my stay at Ramayana. Highly recommend it so of course, I would choose to stay there again. If you can tolerate the heat, most places are walking distance so it’s a very convenient location. Loved how the 2-bedroom offered a washing machine. It was a super comfortable stay.

Ramayana is a beautiful property right in the centre of the action yet lovely and quiet. We stayed in the Sita Presidential Suite and it was gorgeous - spacious and beautifully designed. Breakfast at this property is plentiful with so many options. Staff are excellent
