'This was our second visit to Maui, so we wanted to try something different; we chose something upcountry instead of on the beach this time. We will likely go back to the beach for future visits, because we really didn’t enjoy having to drive all the way back and change after spending time on the beach. 'Calm and peaceful'

'Although it was just for one night, the hotel is amazing and the staff is so very helpful. The pictures on Expedia is incorrect. I requested a 2 queen bedroom. One of the pictures provided shows two queen beds and a living room, this is what I thought I was getting. Per hotel staff, picture is incorrect, they viewed the Expedia photo and apologized for the error, said the picture and description is incorrect.'

'This property has a laid back vibe. Staff is so friendly. Other guests where friendly and having a good time. The location was prime for airport and road to Hana. Our room was dated but clean and fully functional with mini fridge and coffee maker (coffee provided). The breakfast at the restaurant was FANTASTIC.'

'The cutest hotel in the perfect location on Maui! Close to lots of local cafes and restaurants, and the beach was maybe a 10 minute drive away. The room itself was super cute and tasteful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We’ll be staying here again the next time we’re in Maui!'

'Nona Lani Cottages are cute cottages in a wonderfull garden setting. The beach is just across the road. The owner is a lovely lady who is friendly and very helpfull. I like that it is a local business and not part a big company. If you are looking for privacy, amazing flowers, and some nice relaxing time, the cottages are a great choice. '

'We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The junior suite was spacious, clean and provided a view on the ocean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and cool boxes are available to take to the beach. There is also a jacuzzi and small pool. Overall, a great stay in a quiet area of Maui.'

'The room was filthy dirty, infested in roaches. The sink to one of the bathrooms wouldn’t drain, urine stains were all over the pocket doors to the restrooms. All pillows were yellow and stained. The management just dropped off a Ross bag with new linens after we called to complain. No other solution was offered, all they suggested was that we would cancel our stay and rent elsewhere. 'Hilton Grand Vacations in Kihei is a beautiful new property steps away from the beach. We greatly enjoyed our room, which had a high-tech kitchen, washer/dryer, large flat screen TVs, lanai with ocean view, and a rainwater shower head. The property has 3 hot tubs and multiple pools, including an adults-only pool with refreshing waterfalls, and a fun-for-everyone waterslide. 'Het was een prima complex. We hadden 2 verschillende kamers omdat we tussendoor een nachtje in Hana waren. De 2e kamer vonden we minder, het was een upgrade volgens de vrouw bij de receptie maar zo voelde het niet. In de aparte slaapkamer stond de airo naast je hoofd, niet te doen. Verder genoten van ons verblijf en van Maui. Erg om nu de nieuwsberichten te lezen over alle branden. '

'The place was very clean. The staff was very communicative and accommodating. I stayed Wednesday-Sunday and I extended my stay 1 night which was very fast and easy. They left us chairs and towels which was very nice for the beach. The place was very spacious for 2 people. If you want to cook this has plenty of counter space.
