NEW Every Room Faces the Pacific at Kuhio Shores

Summary:

Wake up with the water in view, watch surfers and sea turtles from the lanai, and keep an eye out for dolphins and seasonal whales from your third-floor oceanfront seat. This one-bedroom Kuhio Shores condo sleeps four and sits about 30 feet from the Pacific, with Lawai Beach steps away. Inside, every room has an ocean view, air conditioning, and the comfortable space a couple or small family needs after a full South Shore day. Your stay includes membership at Poipu Beach Athletic Club, with a cardio room, weight pavilion, pool, waterslide, hot tub, sand-bottom kiddie area, tennis, pickleball, basketball, shuffleboard, yoga, and water aerobics. Poipu Beach Park and Brennecke's Beach are a short drive away, and Kukui'ula is nearby for meals and groceries. Please note that the Kuhio Shores building has an upcoming exterior painting project that may affect some reserved dates. Come for the reef, stay for the rare front-row view.



The Space:

Set about 30 feet from the Pacific, this 850-square-foot third-floor condo brings coastline views to the lanai and ocean views to every room. The one-bedroom plan sleeps up to four with a plush bedroom and living-room pullout. Open windows welcome the trade winds and ceiling fans, while air conditioning adds another option. The kitchen and living room make an easy place to regroup between beach and club days.



Guest Access:

Guests at Kuhio Shores enjoy access to the oceanfront communal pool, hot tub, and fitness center, plus lush garden grounds throughout the complex. An elevator and disabled parking spot make getting around easy, and the beachfront setting puts sand and surf just steps from your lanai. Accessible-height beds and toilets are available for added comfort.



The Neighborhood:

Kuhio Shores sits on Kauai's sunny South Shore beside Lawai Beach, where the reef, surfers, and passing sea life make the shoreline part of the day. Poipu Beach Park and Brennecke's Beach are a short drive for sandy swimming and family beach time. Head toward Kukui'ula for groceries, restaurants, and a farmers market, or wander nearby Prince Kuhio Park. This is Poipu for guests who want to wake up close to the water, then explore at their own pace.



Getting Around:

Lihue Airport is about 30 to 40 minutes away, a pretty drive across Kauai's south shore. A rental car is recommended to reach Poipu's beaches, Koloa town's shops, and nearby dining with ease. Old Koloa Town is walkable for boutiques and restaurants, while beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. Parking is generally available on site or in small lots around town.



Other Things to Note:

** Please note: Pool closure at Poipu Beach Club.

- Repairs are set to begin on Wednesday, September 9th and slated to be completed approximately 4 weeks later in mid-October.

- Recreational areas will still be open (Games on the lawn, Restaurant will be open, fitness center & Sports court)



**Please be advised that the exterior spalling project is underway and may affect guests staying in the impacted units.



Project Schedule

Duration: First week of August through the end of September.



Work began on August 3 with the 09 stack (Units 109, 209, 309, and 409) and will continue sequentially through the 19 stack (Units 119, 219, 319, and 419).





If the project progresses ahead of schedule, work may also begin on the Bayside stacks (Units 101–108), including:

01 stack: Units 101, 201, 301, and 401

Through 08 stack: Units 108, 208, 308, and 408





During construction, guests may experience:

• Construction noise during daytime working hours (8am - 4pm)

• Dust and debris associated with exterior concrete repairs.



While every effort will be made to minimize disruptions, construction schedules may change due to weather or project progress.
