Located just steps away from the world famous Poipu Beach and Brennecke’s Beach on Kauai’s sunny South Shore, Lei Hali’a is ready to help you create lasting vacation memories from this island paradise. From the spacious and comfortable outdoor living space provided, you may experience dolphins, sea birds, seasonal whales and sea turtles or enjoy a home cooked meal and some unforgettable sunsets and tropical evenings.

Lei Hali’a offers 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and 2 half baths. Built with privacy in mind, there is a master bedroom located on each floor of the home. Beautifully decorated in an elegant island style, this home is equipped with all of the amenities you will need for a fabulous vacation. The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking utensils and appliances needed to prepare some island grinds. Too hot outside? Both bedrooms have A/C as well as the downstairs living room for your comfort. There is even a laundry room and spacious walk-in closet in case you over packed!

You’ll also find plenty of fun near the home with shopping centers, fine dining and live entertainment nearby or just stay in, relax and enjoy all that Lei Hali’a has to offer. 2 King beds. Sleeper sofa downstairs (queen).

If you have a group larger than 5, you may want to rent Lei Halia's sister, Leipiha ke Aloha, which can sleep 5 and is located on the same plot of land. Perfect for a mini family reunion or multi-generational getaway!

This property includes beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler and umbrella. Please feel free to call us if any of these items are missing during your stay.

Very large and comfortable house. AC worked well in the living room and two bedrooms. I wish there was also AC in the upstairs living area. There was a bit of foot traffic in front of the house, but otherwise the location is hard to beat!

Perfect location, clear view of the beach, short walk. Great lanai, and well equipped, clean, no issues with the stay. Umbrellas, grill, chairs provided. The house was spacious with separate sitting areas upstairs and downstairs. Also appreciated the tankless water heater, since we all wound up taking showers when back from the beach and heading out. Ice machine in fridge, separate wine fridge. Grill new and clean. Highly recommend, and better equipped than most VRBOs.

Very clean. Amazing location. The Green Sea Turtles every evening on Poipu Beach were awe-inspiring. Great communication with Garden Island Rentals. Very prompt attention to a few minor issues. Well-equipped house and kitchen (loved the coffee pot and coffee grinder). Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and boogie boards were a plus.

Amazing location with ocean views from every room (except the bathrooms). The house is beautiful and well appointed. Drinks and dinner on the lanai many evenings, great ocean swimming and boogie boarding just steps away. It doesn’t get much better than this. We will definitely stay in this house again.

The property at Lei Hali’a is very well maintained. It has all the amenities you want and need. It is about a minute walk to Poipu beach. We loved the open floor plan and the fact you could see the ocean from the entire back of the house. We were able to finally relax and enjoy the area. Thank you!

Fantastic house!

This house is located steps from the beach where you can snorkel, surf or boogie board. The house itself is perfect for two couples and is accurately depicted on the website. It was clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. Two minor detractions: the garage is very difficult to get in and out of and they could use some lounge chairs. Other than that, it was just perfect! Highly reccommend!

Lovely house and so close to the beach

Great place for two couples or a family. Both bedroom suites are lovely and there is a small kitchenette upstairs if needed. The house is immaculate and the kitchen is well appointed. We cooked many meals and had everything, including sharp knives! We would come back in a heartbeat.

Best rental house in Poipu!

This house is fantastic! Beautiful new construction home with spacious rooms and unobstructed views of the ocean from both floors. Lots of outdoor living space, a few minutes walk from numerous beaches, great restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive, and super close to awesome snorkeling. There is a washer/dryer on site, along with beach chairs, umbrella, noodle floaties, and boogie boards. The property managers are super friendly and accommodating. Our family of five had a superb vacation and we are so sad to leave! You can’t go wrong staying at this rental property.

Room with a view and close to the beach!

The property was so comfortable, with fantastic views, plenty of space for two adult couples and a great kitchen for cooking as often as we wanted. The best snorkeling beach was just steps away with sightings of turtles, monk seals and so many amazing fish! The owners provided us with beach chairs, an umbrella, noodles, boogie boards and even sand castle equipment. After a great day in the sun snorkeling or hiking we fully enjoyed the very comfortable king-sized beds. The location was so easy to walk to plenty of options to eat and others were within an easy drive. We will gladly stay here again, Thank you for sharing your home with us.

A piece of paradise in Poipu!

My husband and I stayed here for a week and had more than enough space. The house was immaculate. The layout is fantastic and the views of the beach are stunning. The house is in a great location, steps from the beach and no more than 30 minutes from the airport and all of our daily adventures (zip lining, hiking, and boat tour). Kitchen is well stocked with basic spices and utensils. We also used the grill. We would definitely stay here again! Gorgeous!

House was perfect for 2 couples having 2 master bedrooms. Easy walk to swim/snorkel at Poipu Beach, and walk across the street and watch the turtles at Brennecke Beach. House seems new. We enjoyed it very much.

Great location and property, but certain things weren’t as advertised

Overall we would definitely stay here again. The location of the property is incredible. We were walking distance to the kid friendly beach. Few things that we were surprised by are 1. The large grassy backyard that was shown in pictures is actually not there. That area is a construction site and is being developed by the owners into another property. We were looking forward to having a backyard the kids (1.5 and 3yo) could play in while we got meals ready etc. the good thing is that the owner stops construction when there are renters. 2. Unfortunately the rental company wasn’t familiar with the specifics of the house, when I inquired about baby/toddler things, and answered incorrectly. This resulted in me renting baby gear that wasn’t needed or didn’t work with the property (ex: baby gates, plastic plates, baby tub). So unfortunately we lost money there. 3. The property was not clean on our arrival. We noticed the day we arrived that when my daughter crawled on the floor her clothes at her knees and her hands were completely brown. Microwave was full of crumbs. Master bathroom downstairs was muddy with light brown stains all over the floor and by the toilet. I later found hair on the toilet in the upstairs masters bathroom when my 3 yo tried to use it. I did email the rental company and she was very nice, prompt with responses, and tried to get someone to come out and clean but unfortunately that wasn’t until Tues (we arrived on Sun). I didn’t expect to have to clean toilets on vacation... seems silly to pay a cleaning fee when it wasn’t clean for us. 4. The kitchen is a little under stocked in terms of items. For example: a drying rack for hand washed items would be nice. But some of these issues only pertained to us bc we have young kids. Otherwise it really is beautiful and the location can’t be beat!
