Step out onto the quaint front lanai, where you can unwind with a cool drink in hand while watching the sun set or spotting playful whales in the distance. With Baby Beach just 75 feet away, you’ll enjoy easy access to the soft sands and crystal-clear waters.

For your convenience, the property provides beach chairs, towels, a cooler, and an umbrella – everything you need for a perfect day by the ocean.

Ideal Location: Baby Beach Bungalow I is perfectly situated to explore all that Poipu has to offer. A quick 5-minute drive takes you to the famous Spouting Horn to the west and the charming Old Koloa Town to the east. Kauai Family Get-A-Way

My husband and I got married on Kauai 19 years ago- brought our 3 kiddos this time to celebrate our oldest graduating high school. We chose this property based upon previous reviews and it’s location. The house was nicely equipped with everything we needed to be comfortable. The home was even better than the photos could show. So nicely decorated and really clean. We were nervous about no AC, but it cooled nicely in the evenings- did not bother us one bit. We kept all the windows open at night and used the extra fans in the bedrooms. In fact we all slept great at night. The outdoor shower was a family favorite- the boys used it over the indoor showers. The lanai area was perfect to eat, play games or just enjoy the evening. The kitties were nice to have around and loved the fish we barbecued. They were well fed while we were there. We did buy a couple nice boogie boards and left them for future guests. The beach is right across the street and you have a water view from the lanai. It is a very busy little beach, so you will have a lot of traffic in front of the home. The beach is good to sit and relax or if you have smaller kids. Our kiddos were older so we spent time at the bigger beaches. We loved our time here and will miss our evenings at the beach bungalow. Thank you for sharing your home!!

The property was very clean and location very good. However, it is not air conditioned. If you are coming from the south or other humid location, you can probably deal with it. If you are coming from Colorado or a similar dry climate, I would highly recommend you not stay here. Even with ceiling fans, it is just too hot and humid to be even remotely comfortable.

Loved the Beach Bungalow!

As others have mentioned, this house far surpassed the description and photos in the listing. My family really enjoyed our time here and it was a prime location - walk to shops, food, ice cream, and beach. Short drive to bigger beaches and easy drive to the opposite end of the island to explore the north shore. Was worried about not having AC, but lots of fans and always a good breeze. The house was immaculate and I just loved the attention to decor and detail! The street was often busy/crowded with people coming and going from the beach, but wasn't an issue for us. We have older kids so preferred Poipu/Shipwreck beaches about 5 minutes away. Would return in a heartbeat!

Perfect Beach Bungalow on the South Shore!

This property was better than expected. Clean, airy, bright. We were very pleased with the house and location right across from baby beach. The property management was helpful and quick in their responses. We were able to do a late check out which saved much stress given our flight was that evening. I would easily stay here again!

Just incredible

I counted 80 steps from the from water to the front door and my daughter counted 103. You wake up to the sounds of the ocean, and roosters naturally in Hawaii. We could walk to the beach and play in the sand without having to pack up and go some place. The house had everything we needed and an attentive host who made sure we weren't missing a thing. We stayed in December so it was rainy at night but with the windows open it was very comfortable sleeping.

Beach bungalow steps from Baby beach

This property was perfect to kick off our Kauai trip. We spent mornings walking to the beach with coffee in hand watching the beautiful landscape of ocean and sky as the sun was rising. We utilized the kitchen and played cards out on the front patio. The shower out back helped with rinsing off sand and the washer and dryer were helpful too. This home came with beach chairs and towel but no umbrella - so make sure to come equipped with one or take a trip to the local Long’s before they get wiped out of beach supplies. All in all a beautiful stay and would highly recommend this rental.
