'Unlike some reviews I read I had no issues with this hotel at all. I checked in and the clerk was friendly; people complained about no elevator but it's only a 2-story hotel so there isn't really a need. If steps are an issue, I'm sure they could make sure you're on the first floor or you could request it when you make a reservation. My room (2nd floor) was clean I had no problem with it at all. 'Our Host was quick to respond. We enjoyed a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. Master Bed was very comfortable and Kitchen had everything we needed. Nice neighborhood and location was close to park for beach walks. Glad previous review mentioned the bathroom was on first floor and bedrooms on 2nd floor so we weren't surprised at the separation. In was a very nice experience and get away. Would recommend.'
