'I cant express how amazing this property is! This resort is absolutely beautiful!! The interior decor of the hotel is designed perfectly. The views outside the property of the Congo and Lake Kivu is a showstopper! The food was so delicious and fulfilling. The service from staff was top notch! 'Rooms without refrigerator (please buy in the restaurant as stiff prices). Bathroom has bath with included shower, but no shower curtain. Comfortable bed in a large bedroom. Furniture is strangely arranged and the lights are cold white. Breakfast is great, and make sure to order the omelette (it is not offered automatically). The location is a gem, next to the beautiful Nyungwe forest, only 20 min drive to the start of most forest hikes. Dinner is a buffet at extra charge.'

'Goed hotel, mooi gelegen aan schoon strand. Heel mooi zwembad. Kamers goed in orde, maar matras bed echt niet. Was doorgezakt wat niet acceptabel is voor dit prijsniveau. Zelfs in heel goedkope hotels in Rwanda waren de matrassen beter. Uitstekend ontbijt. Kwaliteit eten a la carte zou beter kunnen bij een hotel van dit niveau.'

'Wonderfull place at Lake Kivu. Great view. Possibility for boat tours or kayaking on the lake. Nice staff. Small rooms with nice balcony.'

'Dian Fossey Hotep is one of the more unique places I’ve stayed due to the artwork around the facility. Paintings and statues depicting Rwandan traditional culture and wildlife adorn the grounds and hotel. The staff are very kind and helpful.'

'Die Zimmer/Häuser sind riesig, auch Familien haben mehr als genug Platz. Highlight ist die Außendusche, vor allem und gerade auch bei schlechterem Wetter. Der Blick über den See, herrlich. Toll fanden wir auch, dass man das Essen an einer langen Tafel einnimmt und so Menschen aus aller Welt kennenlernt. 'The staff are wonderful, both kind and efficient. The reception were helpful and made one feel so welcome on arrival. Getting there at night can be tricky as google maps is wrong while there are few signposts showing the way. The setting is fantastic and what a tranquil and relaxing place! Great place to see Nyungwe forest from.'

'Amazing hotel and extremely affordable. This for sure the very best location in Giseny. The hotel is directly at the lake. Walkable to the public beach and pretty much everywhere. The breakfast was amaizng and all the staff memebers were very friendly anddemonstrated solid hospitality skills. I loved everything about this trip.'
