My family and I really enjoyed our week in Southern Shores. The home was beautiful, spacious, in a great location and the amenities were amazing. Unfortunately, we had a lot of rain during our visit, but we had plenty to do without leaving the house. Ron, the host, was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely return if we visit OBX in the future.

I cannot rave enough about how wonderful this house was! Our family loved it and is already planning our return next year. The check-in process was easy. The house was clean and it had everything we needed. We typically bring a lot of kitchen stuff with us but everything we needed was there and we didn’t need to use our own things. Ron is an excellent host and was very responsive whenever we needed anything or had a question. The kids love fishing off the canal and spending time playing in the game room. The house is also in a peaceful quiet neighborhood but very close to Walmart Food Lion Harris Teeter, and a great seafood market. I cannot wait for our trip next year.

We love this place just like every time that we have stayed before. The best thing to help prepare is knowing that the BLVD Ice Cream Co. closes at 10:00 PM. Everyone at the beach loves late evening ice cream so don't wait too late to go. There are only 3 ladies working, but they are quick. All other ice cream shops close earlier so be prepared. Check the trash schedule on the fridge because, there will be cans from the previous guest that need to be placed street side during your stay. Ron is an awesome host and will make sure you have a wonderful stay. Enjoy your trip and recharge your body and mind while you are here.

The house was beautiful and spacious we loved the pool and the short distance to the beach the house location was very close to shopping centers which was very convenient- the owner was always available and checked in with us to be sure everything was ok - would definitely stay again

Wonderful vacation at Serene Dream!

My family has stayed at Serene Dream multiple times, the home, property, location, and owner engagement never disappoints! Very close access to the beach w/private beach parking. Secluded away on a beautiful lot on the canal. Fishing, kayaking, and swimming in the private pool all on the property makes this home one of the best vacation destinations.

This house is amazing with everything you could think of! We traveled with 12 people and there were things to do without even having to leave the house. Very clean and the pool was amazing. Definitely recommend!!!

We have stayed at this property multiple times and just love it. Very clean and amazing house with pool and canal to fish and kayak in and beach access with parking pass just 3 minutes away. Something to do for all ages!

Hidden Gem

This was our second time staying at Serene Dream, and it did not disappoint. There is so much to love about this place. The location is perfect - close to a couple of grocery stores. The house is quiet and private. And Ron is the perfect host. Serene Dream is truly a hidden gem of Southern Shores!

Beautiful OBX Vacation Home

We had a great time, and everything about the home was just as expected. Perfect home for fishing, crabbing, kayaking, swimming in the pool, going to the beach, or staying home and cooking and relaxing. The home itself seems so secluded, but it is also conveniently located close to shopping areas. The owner is fantastic.

Great house for handicapped travelers which is hard to find. On top of that the pool is great and private, and the house, while in a community/cul de sac, feels so private and isolated. The large back yard is great for the doggies to run. LOVED that each bedroom had its own private bathroom. This is a fantastic property. The teens liked that there were lots of restaurants, shopping, walmart, grocery stores all 1 mile away from the house. Thank you!
