This is NOT a luxury villa. The pictures are misleading and not up to date. I’m even reluctant to rate it a 3 star. It is very “tired” looking. The bedding, pillows are stained (disgusting) towels have stains, the fans were so full of dust the manager had to come and clean them all so we could actually use them. My husband actually had to climb on our bed and clean the one in the master suite so we could use it the first night. Maybe it’s a cleaning staff issue, but the room doors, kitchen/bathroom cupboard where everyone touches were disgusting so much so I had to scrub them because I couldn’t stand touching them everyday. Pool heat was refunded by owner as we could not use it or the hot tub (only able to use 6 days out of 3 weeks). We were aware that the pool heat would shut down due to extreme cold weather but the hot tub should have been useable during our entire stay. It’s 20 years old and although running, didn’t maintain the heat due to thermal cover missing, which the property manager managed to clean up and tape up (still in poor condition) and put on for the last 5 days of our stay. I have lots of pictures of things that in my opinion makes this barely a 3 star. The owner told me this was his personal vacation property, so not sure why this is even on VRBO. Phil the manager tried his best to accommodate and that was appreciated.
