Prima guesthouse met hulpvaardige mensen en grote goed uitgeruste keuken. Ligging uitstekend.

Basic maar ok
De kamer is heel basic zoals vele guesthouses. Opzich is dat prima voor 1 overnachting. Het inchecken ging vlot, de locatie is goed (vlakbij de Skogafoss) en de kamer was schoon. Een waterkoker en TV op de kamer zou het misschien nog afmaken.

The location is very beautiful, with a waterfall right behind the property! The staff was very friendly :) We had some very loud neighbours who were not very considarate when checking out at 7 am but that's just luck. Would stay there again :)

Un peu déçu, il fait parti des logements moins bien que nous avons fait lors de notre périple en Islande. Très bruit à cause des portes et loquets. La literie à changer, les matelas sont plus que mous. Le point positif est le petit déjeuner qui est très copieux, ça c’est top

Really nice guesthouse that was nice and clean. Staff was very nice and provided information clearly. The town is quaint and very nice with a few waterfalls around. Great spot for northern lights and a nice drive away from glacier lagoon. A lot better than what google reviews said, so ignore those!

Was essentially a large caravan that had been converted into several small rooms. It was OK as a one night stay whilst passing through the area. The rooms are quite small and for the price charged I'd say not value for money considering other places we stayed in around the island. It was not a terrible stay, just very low budget feeling but with an inflated price.

The rooms are small and the bathroom was very small - with a sink smaller than a airline lavatory. I tried to wash my face in it, and could not, had to actually do it in the shower (which was the one nice thing about the bathroom). Not much ventilation - had to leave a large back window open which was wide enough from someone to stand up and reach in or crawl into the room if they wanted. For this area of the southern coast, you are limited in terms of rooms - so they charge what they can -but I did not feel like it was value for the money. I would not stay here again. I would spend the extra time to travel further east to the Vik area and find better lodging choices.

The staff was kind. We were missing half of the towels and cloth. The garbage from the previous guest had not been emptied. A lot of people in the reviews complain about the breakfast. We liked it and it was more than enough. Still a good place to spot in that town. The location is good.

The accommodation is nothing more than a completely overpriced youth hostel. In the shared bathroom there is only one shower mat for two showers. In the restaurant you get ready-made pizza served for the price of a handmade pizza. A total rip-off. This was our worst experience on our entire Iceland trip, other hotels in the same price range offer a pleasant stay.

The rooms were a bit rundown and smelly. The shower was super tiny and the water could get out every where if you are not careful enough to close the shower “tube” completely.

Our reservation included breakfast. The breakfast was terrible -- it was prepacked and consisted of two slices of cheep bread, one slice of cheese, one slice of ham, and a small apple. The only good thing there was unlimited coffee. It was the worst breakfast during our 12-day trip in Iceland.

Clean with a friendly staff
This was a nice facility near a beautiful gorge, gas station and a few restaurants. The rooms were very simple but clean. Or room backed up to a horse farm and the horses were very welcoming.

The property is old, the floor is sticky, the linen are old and worn, the bath tab is so small you cant wash your hands, and the shower water overflowed. and breakfast is a disgrace - they give you a loate with 12 slices of bread, 1.5 slices of swiss cheese , and apple juice in a box . And all this great pleasure for an insane price

El sitio es precioso y muy tranquilo. Hay una cascada al lado. Las habitaciones simples pero cómodas. Estuvimos en una casita con otros huéspedes (en total 5 habitaciones) con las que compartíamos baños.

Chambre petite, pdj nul et chère..
Nous avons passe une nuit dans ce guest House et y avons dîné le soir: j’ai pris le poisson qui était excellent , mon mari a pris le poulet qui était dur comme du bois. La chambre faisait 9m2, avec un lave main à la place du lavabo et vue sur l’arrière d’un bâtiment en piteux état… le petit déjeuner est nul avec une assiette toute prête et aucun choix. J’ai regretté mon choix: pour le même prix, il y a sûrement mieux ailleurs. Seul intérêt: près de l’essence et de l’épicerie.

Von diesem Guesthouse waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Wir hatten ein kleines Zimmer mit Ausblick auf einen teilweise abgerissenen Stall und einer hohen Betonmauer. Die Heizung im Zimmer war offensichtlich kaputt.Es war kalt im Zimmer. Das inbegriffene Frühstück erhielten wir am Morgen auf einem Teller überreicht:1 Scheibe Toast,eine Scheibe Schwarzbrot,ein Croissants (fast roh oder fsst verbrannt),1 1/2 Scheibe Käse,eine kleine Schachtel Marmelade,eine kleine Schachtel Butter ,1Apfel eine Packung OSaft,und einen BecherTrocken- Porrigde,wo man heisses Wasser aufgießen konnte.Milch für Kaffee gab es nicht,nur Sojamilch.Mit nachfordern wsr nichts drin.Das ganze im Doppelzimmer für 171 Euro.Hotels.com sollte hier die Bedingungen prüfen.

A very well run guesthouse with lovely staff. Lovely large room with kettle and coffee pod machine in hall(bring own pods) Tea and coffee and creamer in room and a sink. Nice shower room downstairs with good hot shower and two separate loos…….all immaculately clean. Nice view of water from room. Excellent breakfast handed to you in restaurant in the morning. Bread ,cheese, cucumber, apple, pot of porridge and a croissant. Teas and coffee help yourself. Great restaurant on site which opens for food at 5.30pm. Best nights sleep so far. Excellent!
