'Clean Room. Staff Good.Breakfast Good. Bar Good. Food Good.'

'We were here for a wedding. Everything ran like clockwork and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. One word of warning, if you have mobility issues make sure you are on a floor serviced by a lift'

'The accommodation is very good and the restaurant is of a very high standard. The carvery is worth a special mention. All the hotel staff delivered service that made us feel valued.'

'Toilet did not flush strongly enough so we were confronted with the impossible to remove old poop of the previous guest. The receptionist seemed to think it was ours... '

'Breakfast , parking, staff, cleanliness'

'Great hotel. Lovely room, nice breakfast and evening meal. Good location, right next to the town'

'Was nice. Breakfast was good'

'Great hotel in nice manor. The house itself is very well preserved notwithstanding the modern extensions and the modernisation of the interior. Great space rooms and good facilities like a pleasant swinging pool. We did eat in York before our arrival but the restaurant seems good, the breakfast there was excellent. Good place to stay when visiting York.'

'This is a delightful place. The staff is wonderful. The building is charming'

'Vriendelijke en ontspannen sfeer. Goed eten. Mooi dorpje '

'Great'

'Overall an OK stay but not worth the price tag. Visited at half term, hotel appeared under prepared. All staff were helpful and polite but clearly under staffed so not necessarily their fault. Room not ready 2 hours after check-in, walkways not maintained, dirty glasses and plates with food on outside a lot of rooms. 1 bath robe in the room for 3 guests, toilet in the room didn't flush and whole bathroom in need of basic repairs. Bar/restaurant stopped taking food orders at 7:20pm in school...
