Welcome to Wave Watcher!

Imagine drinking your morning coffee in a comfortable Adirondack chair and watching the waves rolling in and out while listening to their constant rhythm. You can almost feel the mist on your face as the ocean casts its calming spell on you. The day stretches out before you as you create another perfect vacation on the Outer Banks.

Wave Watcher at Sand Castle Village in Kill Devil Hills is just waiting to give you that incredible experience. A lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium located directly on the oceanfront, this vacation property boasts unique coastal decor, soothing colors and comfortable furniture.

As you awake in the Queen En Suite, the first sight upon opening your eyes is the incredible aquamarine water of the Atlantic Ocean. Step out onto your private deck through the sliding glass door to admire Mother Nature in all her glory. The second bedroom features a duo bunk. Two full baths provide an extra measure of privacy.

The great room features cozy furniture, a hand-painted seashell-themed coffee table and a flat screen TV. The whimsical pub-style dining table boasts colorful paint in different colors. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs. The oceanfront deck is sizeable and features plenty of seating with the most wonderful vantage point to take advantage of your stunning views.

The community of Sand Castle Village provides a pool, park-style grill and dedicated beach path.

The ocean and the sunrises are calling you to Wave Watcher. Can't you hear them?

This property has 2 parking spots for guests.

**Private outdoor community pools and/or waterpark play areas are available, weather permitting, beginning on Memorial Day and close after Labor Day. Please know that pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason.**

Usually my VRBOs are communicating with a person not property management. Kees felt that way. I received a text, so I asked where we take trash. No answer but around 9 got a text if the buildings trash was picked by the city. I should’ve used the app to communicate. The view was great, place clean, beds fine, lots of space. Hardest part was noise above us. A couple brought 3 preteen kids. They jumped on beds, ran around. We survived. Thanks

Great location. Nice furniture. The view is obstructed by brown wood railings, The entire ceiling in the kitchen needed to be painted as they had put in new ceiling drywall. There were rat droppings under the sink on top of the cutting board. There was something black stuck to the ceiling 0coming out of the air registers. Roaches. Red ants on the porch. Outside furniture is mildewed.

Day prior to our stay we were notified our reserved condo was not available. After a few conversations a good alternative was offered. Didn’t quite have the view of the original location. The replacement accommodations were very nice. Centrally located to all of the OBX activities.

Our condo was very outdated and if you don’t do steps this in not the place for you. Also it needs a boardwalk to the beach. Overall it was clean, quiet and no issues with anything.

May Getaway!

Very nice unit and proximity to the beach can't be beat! Close to a hotel and a public beach access which was very busy, which took away some privacy when sitting on the deck. Check in and out process was very easy and well communicated ahead of time. Even though the weather wasn't the best, we enjoyed our first time at the Outer Banks and would stay here again!

Great location across from the Wright Memorial and right on the beach. Could really use a good cleaning. There was a fair amount of dirt on the floors, drawers, and countertops. The decorative pillows need to be washed. Both bathrooms really need to be scrubbed from top to bottom.

Great Family Vacation

Our family of 4 had an absolutely delightful time at Wave Watcher! The views were by far my favorite part of the unit, they really can't be beat. We were so comfortable there after a full day of fun in the sun. I was so sad to leave, and would return without a doubt!
