On The Mapp #2 is ready for your next OBX vacation! This bright and beachy cottage is conveniently located in the heart of OBX on the soundside at milepost 6 in Kill Devil Hills. Cottage is 3 beds & 2 bath and located on a beach access street and two streets away from beach access with parking! Minutes away from the sound, multi-use trail that runs along Bay Drive, and public gazebo dock that's perfect for watching sunsets.

Beautiful place. Even nicer than it looks in the photos. Nice appliances and grill. Dishwasher was a big plus in a beach house. Great location short drive from ocean beach. Walk or bike to sound-side pier for amazing sunsets. Hosts responded quickly and helpfully to questions about approaching hurricane. Great experience overall. One tip: There’s no household recycling pickup, but Kill Devil Hills has a public recycling center a short drive from the house where you can drop off metal, glass, and paper. No permit or proof of residency required.

Great property for our 1st stay in OBX. Accommodations perfect for our family of 6 with enough space to not feel on top of each other. Only downfall of the property was its unwalkable location to the beach. As a first timer in OBX we didn't realize how busy the highway was with limited access to crosswalks. We had to load up our car each day and park at public beach access. However, parking was super close and we didn't have issues not finding a parking spot. Outdoor grill was one of the perks of this property. We loved being able to grill for dinner. Additional access to beach items was also a huge win, we loved we didn't have to pack beach chairs. We totally recommend this property and would stay again.
