Step into Hale Alana, a Polynesian-inspired home situated on a 1/2 acre tropical paradise. With three inviting bedrooms, two being tranquil principle suites, this spacious abode seamlessly marries island charm with contemporary comforts.

From the expansive 72’ lanai, enjoy sweeping vistas of the Pacific. Spot playful whales from December to April and be captivated by Maui's breathtaking sunsets. The centerpiece of this home is the enchanting non-heated lava rock pool, accompanied by a cascading waterfall, offering moments of pure rejuvenation. For a touch of modern luxury, submerge into serenity in the new hot tub, perfectly positioned on the lanai.

Inside, there is au Fitjitsu split system AC in all rooms, including a brand new 3Ton AC added to living room for ultimate comfort, multiple color TVs, a Bose Bluetooth speaker, as well as a fully-appointed kitchen ready for your vacation meals. After exploring the island's beauty, refresh in the outdoor shower. As evening embraces the island, light up the BBQ on the lanai, and enjoy the night sky.

Situated in the peaceful Maui Meadows neighborhood, Hale Alana is a fully permitted vacation rental just a ten-minute drive from the pristine beaches of South Maui. Dive into Maui's diverse offerings, from snorkeling to exploring its rich culinary delights and cultural experiences. The best of Wailea/Kihei’s dining, shopping, and recreation awaits nearby.

Kindly note, the pool is accessed at the base of the driveway. A legally permitted tenant cottage, home to our on-site property manager, stands discreetly at the property's edge. Rest assured, the gardens and pools remain exclusive for Hale Alana guests and the property manager.

This house was just perfect. We could not get enough of the amazing view with beautiful sunsets every day. The pool was nice. The location was perfect and very short drive to beaches, stores, restaurants, etc. The host Martha was very kind and accommodating. Perfect and memorable

It had been 20 years since being back to Maui. This is a great location, with fantastic views, beautiful back yard and fun pool. The ambiance of the home is perfect! The host makes the stay all the better. We loved being at this home versus a resort. We will recommend to all and hope to return! Mahalo!

A perfect gateway!

We had an amazing time at this vacation rental! Right from the start, we were blown away by how clean, spacious, and well-equipped the house was. It looked just like the photos and description on VRBO. The kitchen had everything we needed to whip up our meals, and the living areas were perfect for the whole family. The deck with the hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind after a long day at the beach, and the sunset views were just incredible. We even caught some fireworks from the Grand Wailea resort! Plus, the location was super convenient, with stores, coffee shops, and one of the best beaches we've ever visited, Makena, just a stone's throw away.Martha, our host, was so attentive and thoughtful, giving us clear instructions and quick replies to any questions we had. It really felt like a home away from home, and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Wailea Oasis

We had the best time staying here and made lifelong memories with our kids. Such a unique house, the layout was perfect with the two masters and kids room for our family. The view was incredible from just about any room in the house including the hot tub. Our favorite feature was the custom mushroom shaped pool, we spent countless hours swimming and the water was the perfect temperature, not cold at all! Martha and Ben were great hosts, very friendly and gave us so many recommendations for entertainment and restaurants that made our trip even better. Looking forward to coming back! Mahalo!

Island Oasis

I was so excited to find this property when looking for places to stay on Maui and it absolutely did not disappoint. It’s well stocked with everything you may need, whether you’re hanging around the house (like I did) or looking to go to the nearby beaches. Sweeping ocean views with spectacular sunsets are the highlight. I spent my mornings on the Lanai watching the boats and the afternoons by the pool, either cooling off in the water or in the shade on the deck. Martha was a great host, checking in to make sure our stay was satisfactory but also providing some personal touches since I was celebrating a milestone birthday. This is a truly fantastic property, so glad we were able to find it. It made for 5 nights in Paradise! If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Book it.

Description is not accurate.

There are several issues with the description. Needs to read at the start: Property manger is onsite and overlooks the pool, with a cutout specifically for that purpose. If you have females in your group, they will need to be prepared. You will also have to sign a waiver, which is not mentioned. There is no central A/C There are underpowered wall units throughout that will NOT cool during the day. When we asked about it, manager suggested we should go to the pool... When I expressed our displeasure, they sent someone into the house without our knowledge. All of our stuff, computers, etc. were in there, out in the open. Should never be done. The one being watched by her spouse. We were so disappointed, we left 2 days early. To their credit, they credited the 2 days, which we did not ask for or expect. The property is well situated and beautiful, but the issues and price are not worth the view. I rarely leave negative reviews... but I feel compelled to save another what we went through. Ruined our vacation. If the above does not bother you, then the views are spectacular.

Fantastic home in Maui

This property is close to everything and at the same time private and secluded. Every amenity has been thought of and provided (they really go above and beyond). Communication with property manager is easy and they truly care about your experience there. The view is phenomenal and the neighborhood is wonderful. Don’t hesitate to stay it is fabulous!

Lovely stay at Hale Alana!

This property was perfect for our family. We stayed for two weeks at this lovely home located in Maui Meadows. It was very roomy and incredibly well stocked with everything you'd need. The yard and pool area are simply gorgeous and we spent many hours there swimming and sunning. The yard and pool area are fully gated so it's safe for young children. The lanai is spacious with lots of outdoor furniture and a grill as well as a hot tub. The lanai can be accessed from the two primary bedrooms, as well as the main living room. There is a large garage that is stocked with lots of beach chairs and beach equipment plus an extra fridge. There is an outdoor shower that is attached to the garage so it's convenient to shower off after a beach day. The towels and linens are plentiful, and the home has all the important large and small appliances and is stocked with dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent, paper towels, shower gel and shampoo as well as some basic condiments. The A/C worked great! Communication with the property manager was exceptional. They live nearby in a separate home, at the bottom of the property. The neighbourhood is a lovely (and hilly) residential area. We walked almost every day, but walking into the Wailea area would take about 40 minutes and walking back would be mostly uphill. The views and sunsets from the lanai are truly spectacular! The home decor is a bit dated as reflected in the property photos, but everything was very clean and in good repair. The furniture and beds were great.

Our main reason for booking this property was the pool we would be able to share with our families. The day we got there, the pool was freezing and unbearable to use. We ended up not using the pool once even though the weather was a sunny 80 degrees the whole 9 days. There was a hot tub but unfortunately the tub was leaking the whole time and we had to refill it frequently. There were ants in a few rooms in the home and a few cockroaches. We were unaware that we would be sharing the property/backyard and pool with the property manager 24/7. They also rang the doorbell almost every day during ours toddlers’ naps (waking them up a few times), even though we told them that it was their nap time and they were sleeping. Communication was not great before getting to the property. The property manager did not answer most emails. I did not receive the check in information prior to arrival. I ended up having to email (which no response) and call for the information and was told I should’ve already gotten that email awhile ago. Our due date and method of payment changed without notification. We were originally supposed to pay for the remaining balance by check and mailed to the manager. I contacted her to ask what address I needed to send the check to and was told that they won’t be taking check anymore and that they will charge the credit card on file and charge it 42 days in advance instead of the 30 days we were told upon booking. The property otherwise had beautiful views of the ocean and got to watch whales from the balcony.

The house was very spacious and located just off the beach with a full view of the ocean. The sunsets from the deck were magnificent. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood with colorful tropical plants and and pool adding to the overall experience on Maui.
