During our stay all restaurants were closed. However: There is still a mail sent out that advertises the use of the restaurants. Also the information that the hotel was quite bad reachable came way too late. So I suggest to check on the communication for this one. However: Other than that our stay was great. Breakfast was served to our room (usually way too much, they really wanted to spoil us) and was of very good quality. The spa is small, but nice and we enjoyed it a lot during the bad weather. Location is great, right in the cosy part of Katowice. Staff was always friendly and ready to help. Would definitely try this hotel again when all is open.

Negatief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
Van de oorspronkelijke glorie van het hotel is nog maar weinig over. Kamers zijn ruim, maar erg gedateerd. Hier en daar niet erg schoon. Ontbijt is op zich prima, maar de overkapte binnenplaats sfeerloos. Restaurant was verlaten terwijl het geopend zou moeten zijn. Rondom het hotel is het qua sfeer onguur en chaotisch. Dit alles nog te accepteren als de prijs redelijk zou zijn. Het is echter een van de meest overgebriefde hotels die ik ken. Kijk elders is mijn advies.

Hotel with potential
This hotel has the potential to become a good hotel, however several things need to be improved! Airconditioning system in the hotel did not work properly, it was too hot in the hotel. The individual airco control in the room was also not working properly! The VIP/Business room was disappointing. Bar could use a state of the Art upgrade. Personel at the reception (ladies) where very friendly, restaurant is nice but menu is rather poor, food and wine is ok

Interesting place in Katowice
Beautiful hotel in an area in transition from mining to modern technologies and culture. This hotel is renovated with a the beauty of the past. Very well done and big rooms with every comfort.

Goed, wel verbeterpunten, toch volgende keer weer
Ik was eerder dit jaar in dit hotel. Alles was toen perfect. Nu kreeg ik een kleinere kamer, wat jammer was. De muren lijken erg dun, veel herrie van de gang en buren (naast en boven). Ontbijtbuffet is erg goed maar ook erg duur (18 Euro). Tweede ochtend wilde ik ik roomservice, alleen croissantje en een kop koffie. Er kwam een kar vol met eten voor 3 personen. De receptie gaf toe dat het vaker voorkomt vanwege het taalgebrek van die afdeling, doch (deels) crediteren van de prijs zat er niet in. Internet is stabiel en lekker snel (en gratis). Dicht bij het centraal station. Heerlijk bed! Alleen een regendouche, niet echt krachtig. Geen handdouche, dat miste ik wel.

Misleading information
Booked this only since the junior suite was supposed to have a bubble bath, and I wanted a swim in the pool. There was only regular tub, and they claimed they had not had bubble bath in a long time, even if room info stated bubble bath specifically, and there was even pictures of it. They changed the info after I complained, and was gonna compensate me, but never did. The pool was way too cold. Disappointing experience.

Erlebnisaufenthalt in Kattowitz
Das Hotel ist empfehlenswert. Ein Erlebnisaufenthalt. Architektonisch ein Gedicht. Der Service an der Rezeption war sehr unsicher. In letzter Zeit wurden mir in den Hotels erst mal ein einfaches Zimmer übergeben. Mein reserviertes Zimmer wurde mir erst nach nochmaligem Verlangen gegeben. Die ausgedruckte Reservierung war sehr hilfreich. Das Parken ist ein "Ereignis"- Die Google-Maps Fotos sind etwas sehr alt. Ohne Hilfe kaum selbst zu Parken.

gutes Hotel, ehr große Zimmer, Einrichtung ein bisserl "älter" ("gediegen"). die Fotos sind von Zimmer 207 welches in eine Seitenstrasse geht. Das meiste Personal ist sehr freundlich. Sehr angenehm ist, das viele Restaurants und auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar sind und man dennoch nicht viel von dieser zentralen Lage mitbekommt. Nur das Parken ist mit 100zl/Tag zu teuer, so finde ich jedenfalls.
