Charming 3/4 bedroomed Villa with private pool and stunning rooftop terrace

Beautiful stone detached villa with private swimming pool which is surrounded by a large sun terrace with a stone built seating area covered by a pergoda and offers a shaded eating area for alfresco dining with gas BBQ, the Villa is well equipped for a relaxing and chilled out holiday.

The Villa has recently had a new kitchen installed and been renovated fully downstairs complete with new furniture.

We also have a water cooler perfect for keeping refreshed during the day.

The property benefits from having a small double bedroom off the Master bedroom which is reached by an internal door off the Master bedroom and an external door to the hall.

Both King size bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and they also have balconies for you to relax whilst getting ready for the evening.

We also have 3 hairdryers, heated rollers and straighteners in the Villa.

There is also a safe in the property.

We have a stunning roof top terrace equipped with lovely furniture to sit and look at the amazing view. We also have a fridge upstairs, which is very handy if having drinks on the terrace.

The 4th bedroom on the 3rd floor is a double bedroom but does have a sloping roof but fully air-conditioned.

Villa Tulo is in a quiet setting on the hillside of Kiziltas with stunning views overlooking Kalkan Bay and the Islands as well as Mountain views to the rear of the villa. It takes just a 15 minute stroll to the village and the cobbled streets of Kalkan with its wonderful shops and bars. The harbor is sublime and the pebbled beach has the most amazing crystal clear water. Kalkan has an excellent reputation as having some of the best restaurants in Turkey and are of the highest quality for that fine dining experience. There are many beach clubs in Kalkan some of which are reached by free water taxi from the harbor. Many beach clubs offer various water sports.

Due to word limitation I cannot express how pleased we were with Villa TuloWe spent 15 nights at Villa Tulo, arrived late evening to a very generous welcome pack, easily the best we have had in our 10 yrs visiting Kalkan. Access to the Vila was easy enough via the key lock. Although the Villa is “above” the D400 do not let that put you off. The location is great. The views from the roof top terrace are amazing. You can walk down into town in around 20 mins, or it’s a 5 min taxi ride. Tip for taxi home, if your driver does not know Vila Tulo, just ask for Vila Kaz (its right facing)The pool & seating areas are much bigger than they appear on the photos with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and there is also a table and chairs at the side (out of the sun) which are great for dinners. The outside area is very private & clean.All bedrooms have extremely comfy beds & pillows, all have air con and the two bedrooms that have ensuites are very modern. No issues with hot water.As previously mentioned the roof top is amazing with great seating area, there is also a fridge up there to keep your drinks cool.The villa was cleaned mid stay (inc bed change) and the pool is also maintained (very early -you may not see him but rest assured it is) Gill also provides good quality hair dryers, hair straighteners and pool towels. Much better than the usual, something to consider when packing to save some space.Communication was excellent – there is nothing I could or would fault

We had a great time at Villa Tulo.The photographs simply do not do the place justice. The grounds are setback from the road and although there are lots of properties nearby, they are staggered and designed in such a way that you are not overlooked. The walled area around the pool is the highlight of the property. It is clean, quiet and beautifully maintained. The pool is nice and deep and seemed bigger than the photos in real life and the nearby seating and dining areas are all linked in such a clever way, that even with our large family there was space for us all to do our own thing together.The inside of the property is equally well maintained, especially rhe kitchen and livong room. That contain EVERYTHING that you need to be comfortable. Barely a day went by without somebody shouting "oh wow, they even have a...!"The beds were super comforable and the balconies (especially the roof top balcony) have incredible views of Kalkan and are terrific to relax on whilst hearing the calls to prayer drifting over the mountainsideGillian is an incredible host. Her communications beforehand were excellent and her recommendations for airport transfers and taxi companies were cheaper than anything I could find on the internet and of the highest quality.The only potential sticking point would be the fourth bedroom. There are three spacious doubles on the 1st floor but the bedroom in the loft (also a double) has a very low ceiling which most adults would struggle to stand in.

Lovely villa, only 10 minute walk to centre of Kalkan. Taxi back was cheap at the equivalent of only about £2.50. Lovely roof terrace gives spectacular views over the bay at sunset. Local team available if any problems, who quickly respond. Great location if you have a hire car to explore the many sites around the area.

Lovely stay in lovely villa

We spent 18 days in Villa Tulo, and could easily have spent 18 more. Communication with Gillian was excellent from the start, we felt welcome and well taken care of. Everything about the villa was as advertized and expected - and then some. Some highlights that made a difference: * The generous welcome pack was a lifesaver on our first night, as we arrived late after delays at the airport. Cold wine and beer in the fridge was more than we could have hoped for, along with other items for breakfast in the morning. * The plentifulness and quality of linens, especially towels for use by the pool * The roof top balcony with fridge and stunning views * The lovely shaded back yard with gas bbq and olive trees * The good sized pool and sunny pool terrace which felt very private * Good and stable wifi, even with four youths and one husband with occasional need to connect with the office * Well equipped kitchen with lots of utencils Kalkan is hilly, and the villa is high up, but the views and the breeze is worth it. I would say it is an easy walk down to shops, restaurants and old town - most days we chose to take a taxi back. Would absolutely recommend villa Tulo - hopefully we will be back!
