What a perfectly relaxing, homey, comfortable place for a long (quiet) girlsâ weekend. The house is appointed with pretty much everything a person would need and the property is absolutely stunning!
Sweet little house. Lovely little lake. Kayaks available. 40 minutes from Traverse City about an hour from Lake Michigan. Quiet neighborhood. House is cute, has everything needed. Shower is small but has on demand hot water. We enjoyed our stay
I stayed at the Quinn cottage for 4 weeks, a quaint cottage on an awesome spring fed no wake lake. A great mixture of old cottage architecture and modern convenience. The cottage is fully stocked with almost everything I needed. (I bought a pie plate to make my son a peach blueberry birthday pie!) The bedding was exceptional, the beds very comfortable. As wonderful as the cottage is, I LOVE the lake! The kayaks provided are fantastic and the cool of the water always refreshing even on the hottest summer day. I swam and kayaked every day. When my son and his girlfriend visited, the 3 of us swam across the lake. One of the cleanest, clearest nicest bodies of water I've every swam in. I enjoyed the property so much that I went on only a couple of day trips, I didn't want to leave the lake. Highly recommended.
Rustic cabin interspersed with modern conveniences. Peaceful location with access to local attractions. We very much enjoyed our stay at Quinn and were able to meet with family and friends in the area.
The cabin was clean and well-organized, and in a nice location from which to explore the Traverse City area and environs. Doesnt look like much from the outside, but it's cute inside. We would definitely stay here again.
Great place to enjoy nature in a quiet cabin near a lake! We were able to enjoy dinner in Traverse City, skiing in Boyne Mountain and snow mobiling due to the cabinâs great location!
We was stunned upon entering the house. It was clean and very decorative. Equipped with everything you need. The backyard view is amazing. I highly recommend this place!
My husband and I had just finished moving into our new home which took months of prepping our current house for sale, then the move and being of tired of being surrounded by moving boxes - we needed a weekend escape and this was the perfect place!
This weekend was our mother/daughter weekend and it was an amazing spot to connect and unwind! Getting in nature, kayaking, walking the trails and star gazing by the fire! Quinn cabin met all of our needs and wants!
The Quinn cabin was amazing!! We rented this cabin for a few days before the craziness of back to school happened. When we arrived the cabin was so clean and had so many extra touches it felt like home. The outside lake and dock were fantastic for my teenagers. They enjoyed the boat and kayaks most of all! I enjoyed sitting by the fire in the evening roasting marshmallows. From the extremely comfortable beds, to the record player with speaker and Taylor Swift. We took a day and explored Sleeping bear dunes, but were always grateful to come back to this adorable cabin at night. We felt very safe at this location and couldnât of had a more enjoyable time. Thank you for allowing us to stay at this charming cabin!!
We had a great time at Quinn Cabin. It was so clean and adorable. Tons of little touches that made you feel at home. The lake and neighborhood was so quiet and relaxing. Our 4 year old loved the lake. It was shallow and sandy - perfect for swimming. Loved that we didnât have to lug our pack and play with us for our 4 month old, as there were 2 in the cabin for our use. Really was a cute little place with anything you might need. Weâd definitely stay again and probably will! Thank you!
This cabin was the perfect place to rest, relax, and remember how great it is to let the rest of the world pass by, if only for a little while. Modern updates gives the comfort of home while still maintaining that rustic feel. The use of several watercraft and an ample supply of firewood helped make the stay even more enjoyable. Situated a long way down a private road, Quinn cabin is very peaceful, and the neighborhood was delightfully quiet during our stay. Still, there is a large grocery store about five minutes away, and a kitchen that is fully functional and well stocked with cooking gear, so guests need not pack the better part of their kitchen for this vacation. We would gladly stay here again, in fact we may just book that next trip soon.
It was a nice area to sit by the lake and unwind. My husband enjoyed all the close golf course. My friend who has a 1 year old enjoyed there was grocery stores near by just in case if we ran out of supplies. Love that there was water activities at the cottage for us to use. It was my definition of a cottage vacation.
We werenât on vacation but it felt like we were. Peaceful morning kayaking and coffee by the lakeside; evening walks and wine. Remote work in between. Thankful to have escaped the Texas heat for a few days of bliss at this cozy and quiet lakeside setting.
The house is small and quaint. The decor is cute with a little Scandinavian flare. The bedrooms are large enough, but on the small side, especially the second one. The lake view is amazing, and the dock and chairs by the fire pit are perfect for relaxing in the evening. Our stay was for a family members funeral, so that alone quiet time was well needed.
The kitchen had everything we needed, and the coffee bar was outstanding!
Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!
Great lake to kayak, fish, swim or sit by and enjoy nature. The loons were great to watch and listen too. Cabin had everything we needed. Quite neighborhood.
