Flowering hedges, rock walls and wooden fencing surround your island home. Located on 3/4 acre lot in the gated community of Kahakai Estates with ocean views and gorgeous sunsets! Stone flooring in main living area and warm colors throughout the rooms provide a relaxing atmosphere. The large backyard features banana, papaya, lime and mango trees.

The large, salt-water pool provides a refreshing retreat from the warm Kona air. You will find ceiling fans throughout the home to keep things cool inside and because this home has solar panels for all electricity the owners are able to provide central air for supplementary cooling during your stay.

Come stay with us at Nakakui Elua and enjoy the convenient location, close to Kona for restaurants & shops and nearby the highway to head off to discover the other treasures of the Big Island!

This is a no smoking, no pets property. 5 night minimum,10 nights during Ironman and Christmas. Hawaii Tax ID: 009-678-6432-01. Please be aware that noise aware decibel warning devices are installed in this home. They do not record any conversation, but they do alert us if the noise levels exceed the residential limits in the area.

Excellent Service and lovely home

Enjoyed our stay at this property. The management company was very proactive and responsive. They called to check that we got in okay and also called the next day to see if we had any questions about the property and the surrounding area. Nothing negative to report! Excellent experience!

‘Second’ home

We enjoyed the pool and quiet neighbourhood. Home was clean, comfortable and kitchen fairly well stocked. Could have used some more bowls though. Great location. Wish there were lights around the pool for evening swims.

Excellent location

3 adults and 3 teens stayed comfortably in this home. Wonderful, safe location in a quiet gated community. Even though we would have enjoyed ourselves with the large clean pool and large covered deck, there were so many activities organized by the concierge around the island, we all agreed it was one of our most enjoyed vacations we've ever had. We were sad to leave.

The location to Al’li drive|Kona and other locations on the island was great. The view of the ocean from the pool was beautiful. If you like to cook you will need to get all the basics including olive oil, spices etc. They provided a nice little gift basket! There are many stores near to purchase groceries and other necessities. Overall - great experience, convenient location and beautiful view. We would like to return!

Great Getaway

We came with friends. Some who were first timers to Hawaii. Relaxing area and quiet. That made all the difference to enjoyable evening. The pool was a great reward after a day of playing tourist and the air conditioning a welcome escape from the heat and humidity. A short drive to Kona town. The beds are very comfortable and we all had good sleeps. The property managers checked in and were really available to answer our questions.

Nice place To stay

It had everything as advertised and doea offer a lot of perks. We had two issues that we feel worth mentioning. The first was the pool wasn't clean upon arrival. There are little worms that crawl in and die and then go to the bottom. The automated pool cleaner wasn't working until we messed with it and within a day the pool was about perfect. Had some minor green film on the walls but not an issue. The other issue one may have is the comfort of the mattresses. We didnt find them to our liking but might just be personal preference. All other aspects of this property are why it has such a high rating. Outdoor space is amazing for relaxation.

The pool and yard and back outdoor area were very spacious. We spent a lot of time back there. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen stocked with all the appliances, dishes and anything you can imagine you'd need. We absolutely perfect for our stay.

Piece of paradise!

This house exceeded our expectations!! We had an absolutely wonderful time. The house itself was beautiful and very spacious but the pool and outside wrap around lanai was the best part! We spent the majority of our days outside at the pool if we weren’t at the beach. There were pool toys, beach toys, and beach chairs. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was clean, and if we needed anything the property management was a call away. This was a great place for guests of any age, our group ranged from 1 year old- 66 years old. If we go back to the big island we will definitely stay here again!

Perfect family getaway!

We can’t recommend this property enough! The location was perfect! Just a few minutes drive from downtown Kona, located on a hillside for a beautiful view, very peaceful, with stunning grounds. We enjoyed our mornings taking in the view with a fabulous cup of fresh Kona coffee, our afternoons lounging at the pool while the kids enjoyed the full range of pool toys and our evenings grilling up a delicious meal. The house was completely stocked including an amazing welcome basket filled with local goodies! The beds and linens were very comfortable, the A/C worked great and there were ceiling fans inside and out. We would definitely book this beautiful home again!
