We booked this place because it was advertised as a 1Bed 1Bath. In the description it says king studio suite but I couldn't tell from the pictures. It actually was a king studio suite. When we went to check in, the lockbox was open and the key was just sitting there. We were there at 2:30 and check in was 3. We weren't going to go in early but we figured since the key was out, maybe it was ready? We opened the door and the room was not ready. Bed wasn't made. We put the key back and messaged the property owner to ask when the room would be ready. Hung out until around 2:45 and no response. We came back a few hours later and the key was in the lockbox. If the room was ready by 3 as we were told it would be, they only spent 15 min cleaning it. When we walked in, the bed was made but I don't think the floor was mopped or anything was wiped down. The walls were super dirty and the divider in the floor from the kitchen to the living area was also dirty. The ceiling tiles in the bathroom were hanging down and at least 3 of them were very stained. We had the screen door open the first night and at 4am, the screen fell off the track into the balcony rail. We had booked the week but only stayed one night. The property itself was very nice, the pools were great and so was the view. The owner never responded to my question about check-in. On the last day, he sent a message about check out and at that time I let him know we didn't stay. I can handle 'old' but not dirty.
