Large Cozy Log Cabin Overlooking Black Mountain - Storyland Minutes Away

Your family will enjoy all that the White Mountains has to offer while staying in this large but still cozy log cabin. Just a few minutes to StoryLand. Right across from Black Mountain Ski Area, and just minutes from several other Ski Areas. North Conway is just 15 min away for great shopping and dinning. Our cozy large log home is perfect for multi generations with bedrooms and bathrooms on two floors.

5 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Log Home overlooking Black Mountain. The family friendly Shovel Handle Pub is right around the corner, for great food and entertainment.

Sleeps 10 in 1 Queen, 3 Kings, twin beds for children, and pack and play. Four bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs. Downstairs bedroom is a king with a bathroom next to it, great for grandma and grandpa!

Internet, cable, phone, cell phone service.

Linens and sheets provided. Starter paper products provided. Kitchen has dishwasher, double ovens, refrigerator, 5 burner stove, coffee maker both drip and K-cup, microwave, and four slice toaster. Kitchen is also stocked with cookware, dishes, wine glasses, silverware, etc. One bathroom has a tub and second bathroom has a oversize stall shower.

Great for families!

Dogs welcome with fee and prior approval, with a two dog maximum. Sorry no cats.

This home was a perfect retreat for my extended family to spend the holidays together! The living room is very large with plenty of comfortable seating and a beautiful fireplace. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable with lots of fresh pillows. The kitchen has nice newer appliances, plenty of plates and cups but could use a few more items like cookie sheets and cutting boards...minor things like that. Otherwise, we had everything we needed. Most importantly to me was that the home was very clean! The hosts were very communicative, even checking in after our first night to ask if we needed anything. I would absolutely stay here again!

This rustic log cabin was perfect for our group of six adults, two two year olds and an infant. It was so relaxing to sit by the fireplace after our days of exploring this beautiful setting. Thank you, we hope to return!

Beautiful log cabin and location. Plenty of room for us 7 adults we were all very comfortable. Rooms are big and beds we all agreed were very comfortable. Coffee on the front porch was peaceful and a beautiful view. Cant wait to try it out in the winter.

This is a wonderful house for a large family(7 nights). It accommodated 6 adults, 1-infant & 2 grandchildren age 3 & 6 easily. The views and peacefulness are outstanding. We spent a lot of time on the porch. The grandchildren loved the yard. Plenty of room to run around and play with trucks/tractors. We were concerned with the hot humid summer but there are lots of windows with what seemed limitless breezes. There are fans everyone but we rarely needed them. If TV is your thing they do have TV's in all rooms with endless channels. We never had any issues but the owners reach out to check in and there is some local information attached to the refrigerator. This is a great house for large families.

My family enjoyed our stay and found the house to be just the right size for our group. One initial drawback was that the host did not allow outdoor fires nor has a fire pit. However, Katie and Ian went out of their way to get a permit so they could accommodate our request to bring a solo stove

Ian and Katie's cabin was perfect for our family, 6 adults 4 kids (1 through 7) and small pup. Plenty of bedrooms and room to spread out. We thoroughly enjoy sitting on front porch both in the morning and evening, very peaceful. Close to Storyland and all the great hiking trails we love. Would highly recommend this family cabin!

Our family and friends had a wonderful vacation..the cabin was perfect! Big enough for all of us to be together or find a quiet spot to be alone! The guys skied and the girls shopped…the views around the cabin were beautiful! Hoping to enjoy this spot again.

We, 5 adults and 2 small dogs, stayed here for a wedding weekend. I honestly wish we had booked more nights for our trip! The house was amazing, with plenty of BIG beds, bathrooms on both floors, and a nice big kitchen to cook in. We all agreed we should rent this place again. The house is a short drive away from shopping, food, and restaurants. Hosts were wonderful to deal with as well, very nice and quick to respond if we had any questions.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ian and Kate's Jackson, NH cabin. Kate was incredibly responsive and understanding when we had last-minute issue come up and thought we may need to cancel. She offered us another week, but we ended up being able to keep our original reservation time. The cabin was homey and welcoming and provided a great deal of space for 6 adults and 2 dogs. We loved the family room and enjoyed gathering there, while having a fire going. We loved the area also and look forward to returning soon!

We booked this property for ourselves with our two grown children and their spouses, and the family good dog, and had a wonderful, peaceful respite in the mountains. The cabin is very spacious, the beds are quite comfortable, and the kitchen well-appointed.This cabin did not disappoint!

The log cabin was just as listed. The beds were very comfortable and there was a lot of room for our family of seven plus two small children to spread out! The house is private with a beautiful lawn to play on. The hosts were very responsive when we needed to reach out to them. We would stay here again for our next trip to Story Land and Santa’s Village.

The home was accurately described in a quiet country location. We enjoyed hanging out in the evenings on the porch listening to the sounds of nature. We had a relaxing and cosy time in Katie and Ian's log house. We loved the beautiful views from all the many windows. We snowshoed at nearby Jackson Ski Touring Center, did a puzzle by the fire, and cooked lots of good food in their spacious kitchen. Katie was a really helpful and friendly host. We throughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. We were a group of nine adults and all had ample space to ourselves as well as in common areas. The home was extremely clean and stocked with everything we needed to prepare a few meals through our stay. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Very nice stay. Cabin was clean, spacious, and had all the ammenities one would need for an extended vacation in the mountains. Enjoyed the cabin's two porches and the ouside lawn area was ideal for kids and our dog. Area is quite beautiful, quiet and serene. Nights were peaceful and relaxing. View of Black Mountain and easy access to Jackson Village, N. Conway, and the Presidential Range. We did have one run-in with a dog up the road (a large boxer) that was off-leash and came after our dog while we were on a walk. Owner was very apologetic. Luckily, our blue heeler was able to fend off the boxer, but owners of smaller/more delicate breeds may want to exercise some caution while walking their pets down towards Black Mountain. There are many farms and expansive properties in the area, so you may see a dog running free. All in all, a wonderful stay.
