20 Miles from Yellowstone - Fire Pit - Great Views - Balsam Hill Lodge

Balsam Hill Lodge is a beautiful and spacious cabin that sleeps 20 guests and is great for those large family gatherings! This cabin is conveniently located just 20 minutes away from Yellowstone National Park, five minutes from the local grocery store, and only five minutes from world class fishing on Henry’s Lake. This cabin also features an unforgettable view of Mount Two Top from the back deck.

Amenities at Balsam Hill Lodge include a fire pit, complete kitchen, coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, basic kitchen utensils, dishes, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer, fans, smart TVs, board games, pack and play, high chair, heat, fireplace, barbecue, free WiFi and garbage haul off.
There is no A/C.

This spacious cabin consists of three floors. The top floor features five beds in total. A king bed in the bedroom and four queen beds in two separate open areas. Each sleeping area has a wardrobe and a nightstand. This floor also has a shared bathroom with a walk-in shower and plenty of space. From this floor, you will be able to overlook the dining area.

The main floor is where the main entrance of the house is located. This floor includes a large open concept kitchen, great for cooking for large groups, and has bar seating and two large dining tables. The primary living room includes two loveseats, a couch and the back deck access. Once on the deck, you will find lounge chairs and a BBQ grill. This floor also consists of a very large bedroom with a king bed. The bedroom is located just down the hall, past the shared bathroom.

The bottom floor is where most of the group will sleep. It consists of four twin beds, two queen beds and a secondary living room, which includes a TV, couch, and a loveseat. This floor has a conveniently placed bathroom with a tub/shower combination so no trudging up the stairs in the middle of the night. This floor also has access to the second entrance. This access opens up to a spacious area which includes a fire pit. Great for late night storytelling and roasting s'mores.

Guest Access
The main entrance is visible from the driveway. There is be a patio and railing in front of the door. The Secondary entrance is located around the back of the cabin. The pathway to this entrance will be in the back right corner of the driveway and lead underneath the deck at the back of the cabin. This is also the entrance we encourage our winter guests to use so they can avoid snow piled in front of the main entrance.
Guests will have access to the whole cabin except for one closet. This closet is used by the cleaner to keep supplies at the house.

During your stay, take advantage of all the Island Park area has to offer. Within minutes from the cabin enjoy golfing, fly fishing, the Big Springs River, Mesa Falls and Johnny Sachs Cabin. Feel free to reach out to us for more information about activities and attractions in the area.

Guests will need their own transportation in order to get to the cabin, stores, restaurants, and Yellowstone National Park as there are no public transportation or ride share services available in the area.
