'This was a very nice stay with an excellent cleaning staff and a customer service phone staff that helped me get checked in.
Checking in was a horror story as I do not have a smart phone and did not have internet available as I was travelling. NO WHERE in the emails I received at home indicated that I needed a smart phone to check-in. The reservation was made and paid in full (for a stay on 11 May 2026) in Dec 2025.
The property was spectacular in every way, but the check in experience...

'Cons: You have to sign out a hair dryer or ironing board and they didn’t have them available on the first day because they were signed out by others. The bed frame is very flimsy and made noise whenever you moved around in bed.

'Generally, a very nice hotel, with great oceanfront location, except there are touches that do not meet the standard, given the hotel rating and pricing. The most disappointing issue was the on-site restaurant service at Tula. We had a miserable lunch service where the food and drink order was over an hour wait. Then we had breakfast the next day, and it took almost 2 hours to be served, as they mishandled our orders and had to restart the orders. The food was just OK. Also, room service...

'My room was clean, quiet and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. Front desk staff was very friendly & helpful, especially Berline Louis. The breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of choices. The pool area was clean and inviting. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this lovely hotel again. My only recommendation would be to add Netflix as an option.'
