'The host stays on top of communication and answers all questions quicly. The Casita has every thing you need. I especially appreciated the magnifying mirror in the bathroom.while at the property we saw geckos, a firefly and a poison red dart frog.'

'Writing this review to quiet some of the concerns of the previous reviewer… this rental was amazing! First, the views cannot be beat and the outdoor deck living space is just wonderful. It is the highest location in this particular spot of Basti, with amazing views and a breeze. It’s basically a very unique tropical jungle treehouse high above the town. The ACs in the bedrooms work very well and there is consistently hot water, with strong water pressure - things that are hard to find on...

'Reef house was a great island experience! Firefly and reggae restaurants were closed for the slow season, that was unfortunate. A/C could have been better but fans worked well. Snorkeling on reef out front was amazing.'

'We had an absolutely amazing trip, even with less than perfect weather. The house felt like home for a week. Great hosts, great staff, great food. A comfortable place in the jungle, away from it all. We were a lively group of eight, ranging in age from 16 to older than that, and everyone loved it. Dan (the chef) accommodated vegan and picky eaters and even made a fantastic dessert to celebrate a birthday. One of those trips that is hard to describe because it was an experience and a feeling....

'A two-night stay at this charming hotel on Cristobal Island, tucked away from all noise. Nature at its best. Freshly caught lobsters and seafood, and the best gourmet breakfasts and dinners prepared by the owners. We shared laughs, stories, and karaoke in the evenings with other guests. They also coordinate tours and other activities on the beaches and surrounding islands. Also I recommend this wonderful place for a Pilates retreat - Yoga - Family reunion promotion, etc.'

'S Boutique Hotel The property took 30 mins from the airport, the final 20 mins down a very rough sand track! The sea has a lot of serf and tides so dangerous for weak swimmers The beach is long and beautiful. The hotel and pool are small but excellent .The restaurant is good but limited in choice The staff are lovely particularly Dahlia who looked after us. The Humming Bird restaurant was excellent a 10 minute walk Take a torch. The track gets very muddy and uneven,with potholes.'
