Under the shade of pine trees, San Pietro Holiday Homes 287 is a stylish 2nd-floor apartment for 5 people. It is a short walk from San Pietro Beach on Lalzit Bay, one of Albania’s most popular holiday destinations!

The apartment has an airy open-plan living space, which is stylishly decorated with contemporary pieces. There is a large sofa, a flat-screen TV and a breakfast bar for quick snacks. The modern kitchen is well-equipped, with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and fridge/freezer.

Glass doors open onto a shaded balcony which serves as an outdoor dining room. It is furnished with a table and chairs for meals al fresco.

Location
The apartment is set in pine trees, just a few minutes walk from the beach. Lalzit Bay’s beaches are child-friendly and have good restaurants and bars. More active guests can enjoy scuba diving, jet-skiing, water-skiing and a children’s playground. For self-catering there are several good supermarkets close by, as well as some smaller shops.

There is plenty for visitors to do away from the coast, with many charming hill towns. Kruje (1 hour) is home to 5th-century Kruje Castle, as well as Kruje Bazaar which dates back to the 17th century. Here you can find authentic Albanian carpets, textiles and ceramics. There are also hiking routes in the surrounding mountains which range from the easy to the challenging. Adults will also enjoy a tour of Duka Winery and Vineyard (15-minutes drive) which includes wine tasting and a fine lunch.

Tirana is a 45-minute drive and makes a great day trip. It is an eclectic mix of Ottoman, Soviet and Fascist architecture. The city is easy to explore on foot. Blloku is an exciting, young area, full of cafés and interesting boutiques. The main square – Skanderbeg Square is a must-see. The city’s markets offer a window into everyday life. The New Market, Pazari Ri offers a wide range of local produce.

Tirana International Airport is just a 40-minute drive from the apartment.
