'After a week on a river boat, we booked a night at Hartley House and thoroughly enjoyed it. We felt right at home and the hostess, Kate was remarkable in how she went above and beyond in order to meet our needs. This is the true Ireland in an old, historic house in a quiet country area. 'Theres no words in modern language to describe how lovely, caring, hospitable the host couple are. Location just minutes from shops and restaurants and walking distance to coast. The hosts cater to your requests with such cheerful enthusiasm. The property is meticulously cared for on a quiet cul de sac. The beds are firm, which my 2 sisters prefer (im former military i can sleep anywhere). The breakfast menu plenty of options and plentiful. Would love to go back'

'We were very happy with our room. The bed was so comfortable , the layout was great. I loved that they had 2 chairs and a table in between to watch tv as well as have a tea and coffee with a little biscuit .Free bottled water . They also included little extras like manicure set, toothpicks, toiletries . Bedside tables and lamps on both sides of the bed. We loved our stay , as good as any big hotel. Didn’t get to sample breakfast as we had an early start. Easy parking and easy checkout too.Not...

'Excellent communication before and after our stay. The room was well stocked and there were plenty of dining choices nearby. There are breakfast choices for all and friendly servers. We liked having privacy and freedom there.'
