'Very nice place to stay'

'Our stay here was Wonderful! The room is large and spacious, clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and very helpful - plus the hotel itself is quite interesting to learn it's history and walk around viewing artifacts from the past. If you are staying in Amana, we highly recommend the Hotel Millwright, we wish all of our hotel stays were as nice as this one!!'

'Rooms were dated, bathrooms could be cleaner. The smoke was bad in the lobby due to the casino. Our family had 7 rooms for 4 nights, we tried finding a spot to gather and were sitting outside on a patio, they told us we could not congregate.'

'This hotel has no staff on site. We stayed for two nights and received no housekeeping services at all. No exchange of towels, replenishment of supplies, the bed was unmade. Nothing. The furniture was beat-up. I would have expected 1/2 the price to stay there. I do not recommend it and I would never stay there myself again.'

'This unique hotel is over 100 years old and has renovated rooms furnished with antiques. The location is right downtown by coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and shopping. The staff was very friendly and helpful.'

'The room was comfortable but you could hear people moving around in the room above us. Fortunately, we were on the first floor. I don't believe they had an elevator. The breakfast was marginal at best. I did enjoy the coffee. Despite my thoughts, we'd return when the need occurs.'
