Awesome chalet
Clean and cozy, this was the perfect location to stay as we took advantage of a late March snow storm. Close to Attitash and North Conway. Snow was cleared from the driveway quickly. Attached to another chalet but very quiet. Fireplace was excellent.

Beyond our expectations
This chalet is beautifully furnished and fully supplied with kitchen utensils and cooking materials. There is everything we need. The place is clean and quiet. The property is located n the little hill above a beautiful pond. The host Richard Park is very responsive with a warm and welcoming manner. I highly recommend Richard’s chalet.

Highly recommended
In a very pleasant location, this accommodation is very comfortable with everything you are likely to need. It has a nice outside space as well as inside. The kitchen is well equipped and the property is very clean. The host, Richard, provides excellent communication in a timely manner. I can highly recommend it.

Quick getaway
We stayed at this chalet for a couple nights for a quick getaway. The house was clean comfortable just the right size. We found the beds comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet and close to everything. We will definitely like to go back and stay again.

Hi Melissa, yes, some of the appliances are not new, but the photos and description are accurate and match the photos as advertised. Also, it is very competitively priced for this market. If you are looking for a more upscale accommodation, we have another chalet just up the street, and it is prices accordingly higher.

Great Spot!
I stayed at Richard's for Memorial Day Weekend with my 2 year old son and my husband. The location could not have been better. The place was gorgeous and very clean/tidy. I did not smell any musty or bad smells at all that some of the reviews mentioned. It was centrally located to everything we needed - Storyland was about 9 minutes away and Echo Lake was even closer than that. Extremely quiet street that is nice for little walks. My only negative was that the walls were VERY thin and I felt bad for the neighboring couple because there is no way they couldn't hear my son who gets up at 6am playing around. This never bothered us but may have bothered them. Otherwise FANTASTIC!!

Perfect for a ski family of four
This cute little property was perfect for my spouse and me and our two kids. It’s a little smaller in person than it seems in the listing photos, but had everything we needed. Super close to Cranmore and town. Clean and smoke free. Gas fireplace was great to dry damp ski clothes. Sledding hill and kids playing hockey on the pond across the street was an added bonus. I would rent here again.

Great Long Weekend Stay
The property is in a great location, minutes from downtown North Conway. It is quaint, rustic and very well equipped. Richard was highly responsive and attentive. We had an excellent experience.

A short get away became much shorter.
Communication was excellent. The unit, not so much. As soon as you walk in, the unit has a musty smell throughout. The unit is kept at 52 degrees when not in use. The br's took about 5 hours to get to 65 degrees, which was not acceptable. The kitchen/living room warmed up in a more reasonable amount of time. Some small appliances need to be replaced, just kind of gross. The gas stove in the living room, was merely for looks as it throws out so little heat it does not suit the purpose we were looking for from a stove. It's a cute unit, for a small group. The bathroom was very clean. The location is good. Close to downtown and Mt. Cranmore. Asking the guests to clean the berm at the end of the road when the plow goes by: Never going to happen. It happened to be an item in the notes. Btw. We rented the place for 3 nights. We left after the first night. Lots of potential but I will look elsewhere at the moment.

Thomas, I wish you mentioned something when you arrived. Normally the heat is on prior to guest arrival, so I’m not sure what the issue was there. I get 5 star reviews from most guests, so it is disappointing you did not contact me during your stay so I could address your concerns.

White Mountains Chalet
We stayed there as a family of 3 (2 adults, 1 infant) in mid September 2022 for two nights and it was very nice. The kitchen was very well equipped and it all felt very cozy. It even had a stair gate which was very good If you have a one year old child stumble around. The only downsides were the squeaky floors which made you hear every step from upstairs and partially from the neighbors as well and we found some forgotten socks and shoes below a bed. Otherwise everything was perfect. Communication with Richard was quick and easy. Thanks for the late checkout.

Property was very clean and in a very quiet location but not far from restaurants and downtown North Conway. It was well stocked with spices, oils and even coffee. Though it is a duplex, it is very private. A nice rental!

Cute, comfortable chalet in the heart of the white mountains
We stayed two nights at this adorable chalet and found it very comfortable! It's well appointed and had everything we needed. The location was great and it was minutes from everything we wanted to do in the area. I highly recommend this little condo, and we'd absolutely stay again!

Wonderfull stay in the North Conway area.
We stayed at Richard's Chalet for a weekend in June 2022. The chalet did not disappoint. The unit is central to everything that North Conway has to offer. The only down side is that there is a musty smell in the unit. This may be normal for the age of the unit but it is noticeable upon entry.

Regarding mustiness, the dehumidifier was full. You just have to empty it it so it runs properly to prevent this. .

Perfect location
Location is perfect. Street is super quiet and peaceful, but less than 5 minute drive from the shops in downtown North Conway. Perfect size for our family of 3 (2 adults and 1 child). Living room very comfortable with a nice deck. Check in was super easy and convenient. About an 8 minute drive to Storyland which was great! Everything as advertised in pictures. Do note - bedrooms are in the “basement” level so were a tad musty but there was a dehumidifier installed and cranking so not a big concern for us! Very happy with the rental overall. Thanks!

Nice spot
It's a nice spot! Just a few minute drive to North Conway and Storyland. The 2 bedrooms and kitchen made it more convenient than a hotel. And there was a nice patio and yard. The only minor imperfections were that the unit had a somewhat musty smell, and could have used a few more blankets (because the down comforters were lovely, but too hot for summer). Only minor issues though. We had an overall great stay!

White Mountain Chalet Stay
This was a great stay. We were within a mile and a half from skiing @ Cranmore, and a couple miles from nice restaurants and shopping. It was in a quiet location and had all the conveniences away from home (e.g., coffee, towels, blankets, BBQ, Internet TV, etc.). The owner was very accommodating.
