Get ready to relax as you settle down to the comforts of the Orchard Cabin. Perched on a high knob, this log cabin opened in 2016, and offers a panoramic view of farm fields and pasture land. You’ll enjoy the spectacular vistas from the cabin’s big windows, as well as from the wrap-around deck and the covered back porch. Seclusion and serenity are at hand when you choose to stay here, yet you’re not far from all sorts of interesting activities in Brown County, and the surrounding area. Let’s have a little closer look at all the amenities…
Upon entering through the front door, you’ll be right in the center of things…the living room, kitchen and dining area are all combined into one large open space with a combination of vinyl and hardwood floors, comfortable furniture facing the flat-screen TV, and a fireplace with gas logs.

Pretty leaf-patterned dishes, granite-topped cabinets, and stainless steel appliances will ensure that those who like to get creative with their meal preparations will be sufficiently inspired to make some culinary masterpieces. For those who are more about filling the empty belly than stirring the pot, there are a number of local eateries ready to help you out. Patio doors open on to the covered porch, where you can get all cozy-like with your favorite cabin companions as you cast your gaze to the woods and nearby fishing pond. Enjoy the pond from the brand new dock.

The master bedroom will be mighty inviting when it’s time for some shut-eye, with its Shaker-style furniture, and lovely quilt on the queen-size bed. A bathroom with a tub/shower combo unit, and a washer and dryer complete the main level of the Orchard Cabin.

Upstairs you’ll find a loft-style sitting area that overlooks the living room, where restful shades of blue and green create a great spot to enjoy the beautiful stained-glass lamps, a desk, and two glider rockers. What a perfect place for reading or some private conversation. Two more bedrooms and a bathroom up here are convenient amenities all the second-floor guests will appreciate.

Wait…there’s more! Go downstairs to the lower level to discover another flat-screen TV, and even a pool table where you can imagine yourself in your very own “The Color of Money” or “The Hustler”-style experience. You can also go out to jump into the hot tub from here and get in a good, long soak at the end of the billiards tournament. Aching muscles and pesky tensions, be gone! Toasting marshmallows, roasting hot dogs, (and some good-natured roasting of your best buds, too!) are a delightful outdoor pastime for Orchard Cabin guests when they gather round the campfire pit.
