Unfortunately, the gentleman that checked us in was not trained very well when the fire alarms went off he did not have a clue what to do so we followed the direction from the fire department when they showed up. When we arrived, the person checking us in gave us the pool hours and then once we settled into our room, we found out the pool was closed due to an issue from the day before and they offered us a pool at the hotel, Next Door not a very professional offer. I did contact Expedia and they did a great job helping us out, and I also did contact the general manager of the hotel. He did apologize for the lack of training of the person that was there checking us in and dealing with the fire alarms. His plan was to be sure this person is retrained as needed, which we appreciate on the Plus side since we decided to still spend the night there the breakfast was very good and Reina did a wonderful job taking care of the breakfast area the food was very good and also the whole kitchen area was spotless. Doesn’t get any better than that which helped make the issues of the day before a bit better thank you, Reina.
