'Second time here, another lovely room with plenty of space and well lit too. Parking was easy. Will definitely stay again.'

'What a beautiful hotel. I stayed in a superior double which was very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage space, fluffy towels, plenty of hot water and excellent tea and coffee, biscuits and water. The owners were very friendly and made me feel most welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. You would never go hungry. The air conditioning was a real bonus, although unfortunately it did drip a little water on the floor. My only other niggles...

'We really liked everything about the Ollerod. Two thirds of our breakfasts were provided by Julie, who was so nice. We enjoyed chatting with her about the local area. The food was good and set us up for our busy days. We met Kim in housekeeping one day when we stopped by midafternoon. Our room was always spotless and looked as if we had only just arrived. The staff at the front desk were helpful and accommodating. One gentleman even arranged to have housekeeping launder a few shirts for...

'A beautiful location. Spotlessly clean and we wanted to stay longer. Thank you for meeting us and making us feel welcome. Carl and Jo'

'Breakfast lovely. Nice room. Everything clean but if you put your towels on the bathroom floor you expect them to be changed for fresh ones and not to be used again. Not enough parking space in the evening and it is too dark when the pub is closed. The quality of the food is very good.'

'Goed en rustig hotel. Landelijk gelegen. Ruime kamer'

'We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door Paul en zijn vrouw, de uitbaters van de 500 jaar oude pub. De kamer was erg netjes. Om 18:30 ging de pub open en stroomden de plaatselijke gasten binnen en was herberg gezellig. We hebben ons avondeten in de pub besteld en de volgende ochtend werd on ontbijt klaargemaakt. Het was een leuke ervaring. '

'Wonderful period property, all modern conveniences, comfortable beds, luxury bedding, spotlessly clean. Situated just off the high street with secure on site parking, and within walking distance of various eating establishments. Website is easy to use, and informative, covers everything you need to know about the property and local area. Jamie & Gary are fabulous hosts. Highly recommend this establishment.'

'The hotel was really a hostel and did not match up with images on their website. We were expecting to be staying in a country house hotel not a youth hostel. The only facility we had was wifi. The room was clean but very basic with no ability to make ourselves a tea or coffee without walking down two flights of very steep steps to the kitchen which was a health and safety nightmare - no idea why they could not have put a tea/ coffee station on the top floor. There was no television...

'It was located in a quiet historic village. The room was nice . Comfy bed , nice shower and bathroom. An Excellent full breakfast! And all for a very good price! 🙂'

'Netjes, alles voorzien, goed ontbijt'

'Brandschone en knusse kamer van alle gemakken voorzien. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk ontbijt. Genoeg parkeerplekken. '

'So clean, our room was immaculate so were all the other areas of the hotel. Really lovely stay, fabulous breakfast and dinner!'

'On arrival the reception was awful with staff unable to access records but their attitude was very off hand towards us. The room was clean but badly set up. For instance, the double bed was only accessible from one side; there was nowhere for storage of cases etc. and the only area to hang clothes was a row of five hooks, three of which overhung the box on which the kettle and cups etc. were kept; the shower cubicle was missing one of its two doors; the sink in the toilet was so restricted by a...
