'Unfortunately, my experience at El Valle Lodge was disappointing. From the moment we arrived, I felt that the treatment we received was not welcoming. We were made to feel as though we didn’t belong there, which was especially upsetting because we were simply vacationing in our own country. 'They didn't offer military discount and for the 900 spent with no t.v and the toilet being small was not worth that but in a pinch can be a beautiful place as it was for me and my wife. '

'When we arrived nobody was there so no check in, completely dark, we found a lodge with a key in the door so we could use it. Late at night someone arrived. He arranged a breakfast for us the next morning which was very nice. The rest of the stay was ok. '

'The room we had was excellent. The little bar on site was was also very cool and welcoming. The only downside keeping me from giving an overall 5-star review was the loud music from the bar that went well into the evening and then into the morning. I would certainly stay again…but I’ll bring the ear plugs next time :-) '
