'minimal facilities..pls be aware that this hotel only reachable by boat..make a mistake when booking this hotel..however i enjoy this hotel due to it is close to nature.. Found a rat inside the shower room..and electricity went off around 5 am.. It will be very jot but shomehow bearable'

'Wij hebben het ontzettend naar onze zin gehad bij Ambong Ambong. En dit is zeker ook mede te danken aan het personeel. Zij doen werkelijk alles om het je naar de zin te maken. De weg naar de studio's is behoorlijk steil, maar ze willen je altijd met de auto halen en brengen. Ze zijn altijd vrolijk en bijzonder vriendelijk. Het ligt prachtig tegen de berg aan en je hebt een prachtig uitzicht op zee! Dan natuurlijk de natuur. Alles is daar behouden gebleven. De apen die 's morgens op je dak...

'Beautiful property, spacious rooms, gorgeous pool with a waterfall. The food and drinks were really good and the staff friendly and welcoming. The only thing I didn't like was the lounge and cabana furniture was stained and looked dirty. I thought it brought down the otherwise very luxurious feel of the hotel. '

'Room was dirty, had mosquitos getting in from window cracks and even a lizard. Self checkin was inconvenient and everything required a taxi for travel, nothing walkable. Shower had a heater but was like warm at best. Fridge froze our food, and the mattress we could feel the coils when trying to sleep. Room looked nothing like the picture as it had stained walls and was not kept up.'

'Resturant is really bad. No options to eat and very bad behaviour by the people at the restaurant. The hotel is really good. The only shortcoming is their restaurant which they should really try improving if they want to do better.'
