'Husband and i came to Maine this week and spent 2 days in Bar Harbor. This place was close to lots of shops/bars/restaurants and had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. '

'Noisy property, restaurant and working residents. Not welcoming entry area in back area, no lighting. Restaurant provided breakfast graciously, was nice.'

'No contact from property manager or owner for requests , sheets had pubic hair from previous booking , I asked for new bedding and said I would change it myself, things happen I get it, dirt on the floor sticking to socks and feet, paper thin walls, unusable balcony, we left after only one night without communication from anyone to find a cheaper, bigger, much cleaner place, with much more privacy, '

'I was visiting Acadia for a handful of days; I stayed in Bar Harbor the first couple of nights, and decided to split costs by staying here, a short drive away just off the island, for the rest.
