During our stay the staff was super friendly and very accommodating and attentive to our needs (e.g. booked tuk tuks, rented a scooter etc. for us within minutes). Overall the experience was great and would definitely recommend staying at the Bathala Resort.'

'We stayed 6 nights in one of the rooms overlooking the beautiful white sand beach which is definitely worth the extra cost. You are literally about 25 metres from the sea. Hotel is only a few years old so everything is in pretty good condition. Our room was spacious with double and single beds and walk in shower. Excellent quiet air con. Mini fridge. Kettle. Complimentary toiletries. Robes and slippers. Excellent breakfast buffet. Very good service. Sun loungers at beach (with drinks service) ...

'Modala was beautiful. There are many hotels in Bohol, but I'm so glad we chose this one. The pool and beach are pristine and quiet, and we loved the shopping area attached to the hotel, with good restaurants, cafes, and lovely shops for souvenirs and handmade jewelry. The hotel restaurant was excellent, and the buffet breakfast was extensive and featured local delicacies from Bohol - something new every morning. The staff were so gracious and accommodating. I would return to Bohol just to stay...

'It is situated nicely and tucked in a quiet neighborhood. The way it was designed the villas and rooms has walk ways and outside nature you could enjoy. The pool is a plus. The cafe and restaurant had a relaxing and quiet feel. It is a reasonable price including breakfast. Also we met a neighbor Alfred who took us a nice private tour. Good job Secret Garden Resort. 'Rustig hotel. Enige grote nadelen zijn het veel te harde bed maar vooral ook de bouwactiviteiten direct naast het hotel. Naast het zwembad bouwen de buren een enorm resort van wel zo'n 6 of 7 verdiepingen hoog'
