The layout of the home was nice, with the lower level cinema room with projector being a big hit! We loved the real fireplace, and Safeway grocery in town sells wood. Communication with property management was good with a fast response time. Note: The master bedroom bathroom does not have a door so you see right into the bathroom and shower from the bed, and the toilet is around the corner with no privacy door. This should be noted in the listing description as this was very inconvenient for us! Also note the bunkbed room door is sliding barn doors that do not close tightly, are loud, and there is no wall to the ceiling above the door which renders that room not private at all. The door next to the fireplace that should walk out onto the balcony was permanently locked and we wanted to keep that door open to enjoy the front porch. There's only four chairs at the kitchen table, we would suggest some folding chairs so that a family can sit together. Good location close to town, but note there is no yard for kids to run around and it's right off of the road. We were in town for our daughters wedding putting the house just 30 minutes from the Northstar gathering venue it was held at. House was well stocked with dishware and glassware, plenty of paper products and garbage bags and cleaners, local coffee in the fridge was a fun plus as well as the spices and each shower had shampoo and conditioner!
Suggestions: A coffee maker that has auto shut off, an electric tea kettle, plastic cutting boards, more kitchen towels, and more bathroom washcloths. Replace the hot tub cover! The cover is saturated and heavy so a cover that is on a lift would be appropriate to make it easy for people to open and close the top. All the hot tub chemicals and tester strips were inside the closet in the house which was nice.
Overall a convenient location close to town, a nicely decorated and updated interior. Thank you!
