« Dieser Ort hat fernab vom Rummel der Stadt einen ganz eigenen Zauber und lässt einen sofort entspannen. Die Besitzerin ist einfach zauberhaft und sehr bemüht, ihre Gäste in Komfort zu bringen. Sie ist eine sehr freundliche Person und ist ganz offensichtlich die gute Seele des Hauses, die mit viel liebe zum Detail die Zimmer, das Haus und den Garten liebevoll gestaltet. »

« Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun. »

« It has only been 2 months since my last stay here and it was as good as ever. Staff as always were really friendly and make you feel at home. I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening meal as well as a great breakfast. A decent night's sleep set me up for the day and I look forward to coming back here. »

« The room was fine the thermostatic radiator valve wasn't working, an unusual winge was that it was so warm we had to open the window (it's a surprisingly busy road into and from Dulverton which of course we heard all night,). There were some dead things in the glass lampshade,and the mattress was the most uncomfortable that we have ever encountered. Let me be clear that the hotel staff etcetera are first class and the only other slight complaint was that dinner was cooked really well but...

« This hotel was phenomenal.The check in person so was good.Gave lots of advice.Breakfast and dinner are available.The room was so cozy and gave amenties like water,sweets and biscuit.The room was very clean.The room had laminated pamphlets sheets of information about breakfast,bus times,Thoverton and Exeter town information etc.There is a pub below the rooms which is quite busy in the evenings to nights.This place is well taken care of and they take care of their guests.It is an exceptional place...
