'Alex Hotel is the perfect location for relaxing in the city. Location is 'cool' (Northbridge) and the vibes in the Alex Hotel are.......Alex. Healthy food and guests with slippers, but than the Aussie posh/classy way. Not Vogue or Harpers Bazaar, but Cosmopolitan. It is Australia so 'no worries mate! Yes the Alex is relax and chic but the Aussie way. And I think than that you understand what I mean.. '

'Great hotel, very comfortable. Pool would be better if it showed a view. Being on the deck serves little purpose now as plants are blocking the entire view. Also, it's better to add some chairs when busy. '

'Kitchen utilities so you could cook yourself. Coffee machine in the lobby, free apples. Red cat is just stone throw away to the city, Watertown is a block away that you definitely want to visit, and there is the yellowcat. Only thing they could improve is to offer late check out.'

'I liked this hotel for location and roof top bar (and a pool). But if I visited again I’d probably book another hotel but same area. The rooms are not sound proofed at all and are very compact. Furniture is modern but too much of it given the size of the room. Sachet coffee and kettle, no pod machine! And no bins for recycling either.
