'Our stay at the Sheraton (couple with a 6yo) was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back. Our highlight was the buffet breakfast. Huge variety, barista-made coffee, made to order omelette station, fresh juice… the list goes on! A very pleasant way to start the day. 'Crystalbrook is perfectly situated in Surry Hills. It’s perfect to travel throughout Sydney, with many transport options. But there’s also a great restaurant and bar scene nearby. The rooms are cleaned and well kept, and the staff is very friendly. Great stay overall!'

'Wow. This is how it should be. The only negative thing I can come up with is that they didn’t mention that the restaurant was closed on the day of our arrival. Rooms are spacious and have all you need, incl. free mini bar. Also lots of amenities are free and delivered to your room. Breakfast is very well. Very friendly personal. Free washing facilities, swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym are perfect. This is the best hotel we stayed in during our 7 month vacation. '

'Love staying at Skye Suites on our annual visits to Sydney as the service always feels personal and nothing is ever too much. The room was ready first stay hours earlier and the following weekend not quite, so we left our bags and went off for lunch. We were messaged that room was no ready and they had taken all of our bags and personal belongings up already along with requested washing rack etc. Fabulous service and rooms are always comfortable.'

'Room was good except one bedside lamp was not working. With such a large TV of a night the SAMSUNG TV logo gleams bright all night facing the bed directly. (It's like having a moving light on...) The only alternative seemed to be a blindfold or equivalent. Also with the fob card inserted, a strong overhead light is illuminated. (ie. The fob card must be removed to sleep). Only problem with the fob removed, the AC doesn't work, so temperature issues. (hot and or cold)'

"I was expecting something different when I booked a hotel with 4,5 stars. It's that definitely not worth that many. The lobby and restaurant are stunning, but the rooms are definitely out-dated and not worth 4,5 stars. The furniture is extremely old and some have locks, which is weird since I'd like to use the furniture in my room? The bathroom was also very old and out-dated. Our conditioner was empty after 1 shower (we were 3 people, 1 person used the conditioner). We were so kind and practical to write 'Empty' on a piece of paper and stuck it in the holder of the conditioner so housekeeping would notice. They ignored or didn't see it TWICE. I mean can we make it any easier for you? Do have to mention that I loved the staff at the reception, they really saved our stay with their kindness and helpfulness. We went down to ask for more conditioner (and by that point also body wash) and they had housekeeping bring us replacements for all the products (5 different in total). But housekeeping did not replace them during our stay, they just left the new ones in the bathroom where we had put them and left the old ones, empty ones, in their holders. Otherwise we did always get towels and the beds were made properly. Overall an okay experience, if you're used to a 4,5 star hotel being luxurious though, I'd recommend you go somewhere else since this is more of a 3 star hotel in my opinion as a frequent traveller. "
