When I arrived, the hotel was clean and adequate, and the service team was polite and helpful. However, the pool and hot tub were unexpectedly closed - without any advance notice. As the Nor'easter snowstorm of February 22/23 approached, I requested to extend my stay by one night (through the 24th). The morning of February 23, the hotel lost power around 7:30 am. By noon, no staff had arrived and the parking lot remained unplowed. There was no contact by hotel management and seemingly no arrangements to take care of guests who were left to fend for themselves as the hotel temperature dropped. With the help of another guest, I shoveled out my car and left, concerned about the safety of a hotel without power or staffing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel - though it may be quite different in the summer. I also think I should be reimbursed for the additional (unused and unusable) night.
