Consider this lovely cottage your home away from home while you visit Port Sydney. With five cozy bedrooms, including a queen bed, a double bed, two rooms with two twin beds each, and a bunk room, with a bonus twin bed, there’s plenty of space for everyone to relax. Two bathrooms make getting ready easy and convenient for guests. The cottage features heating to keep you comfortable no matter the season. Whether you’re gathering for a quiet night in or planning your next adventure, this terrific spot offers a charming retreat.

When our resort was a historic Muskoka hotel, this unit served as the Dining Room where the guests would eat their 3 meals a day. It has a large living/dining room with plenty of space for people to gather, play games, catch up, or dine together.

Clyffe house is a generational Muskoka resort, still in the same family since it opened in 1885. It was once a hotel with guests able to rent a room for a night, but many stayed the whole summer. It truly was a destination in Muskoka!

We have 9 cottages at our resort that range from 5-2 bedrooms, comfortable for a variety of family or group sizes.

The resort is located on gorgeous Mary Lake in Port Sydney. Our beach faces North West, so guests have the luxury of watching the sunset each night from our spacious dock.

The beach is perfect for kids with a long, hard packed sandy shallow area. Guests have access to canoes, SUPs, kayaks, peddle boats and electric motor boats (with a boat license).

Firewood is provided, so you can enjoy one of our 3 fire pits around the property for a campfire and smores! Propane is also provided for each units’ bbq.

If you are sporty, we have a tennis court, beach volleyball court, ping pong table and badminton net. For the little ones, we also have a wooden play structure on a safe-sand pit.

Mary Lake is known for its fishing, where you can catch, Perch, Pickerel, Bass, sunfish and more. The little ones can even catch rock bass and sunfish from the edges of the dock.

We are close to Algonquin and Arrowhead Provincial Parks, Limberlost Reserve, Santa’s Village, Muskoka Heritage Place and many more scenic places throughout Muskoka. Just 15 min to downtown Huntsville OR Bracebridge. Walk to the Port Sydney Dam and Waterfall in 15 min, and continue on to get an ice cream treat from David’s General Store.
