This is one of the best experiences we had in Alaska in July 2019. We highly recommend this B&B if you plan to visit Homer, Alaska. I didn't find the town impressive until we drove down the road leading to this house. It has the best view of the whole area, just outside the window and on the balcony. This house is so pretty inside or outside. What's more? Don and Sharron are the best host, who make the breakfast so delicious and everything is just perfect!

Outstanding B&B. We had a great time and we highly recommend it. This B&B is located about 14 miles east of Homer so you are definitely not in town. The view across Kachemak Bay was simply stunning. While we were having our 1st breakfast a Mama Moose and her baby strolled by the house eating in the brush located next to the house. To top it off we were picked up by a helicopter in the backyard for our bear watching expedition by Kirsten (pilot) of Alaska Ultimate Safaris. Don (B&B owner) recommended that we go on a bear watching tour and I am glad we did. He told Kirsten that if she picked us up in the backyard he would make her breakfast as well. So, we had an enjoyable breakfast Kirsten. After breakfast it was off to see the bears.

Overall a great facility but the hot tub wasn’t functional. View was beautiful over the bay. Staff was friendly but almost pushy in wanting to know our plans and exact times for when we were coming and going. Felt like we were sneaking out of our parents house every time we left haha. And then they came in and tidied up our room while we were gone so don’t leave anything out you don’t want them to see 😂 They we’re trying to be helpful but it just rubbed my feathers wrong. We did see a lot of moose around the area and it was quite so that was a plus.

Very quiet, private and friendly B&B with real nice hot breakfast! 6 of us stayed in K-9 room and we enjoyed the place and host. Great glacier view right from your window.

Our host Don was the best. He made excellent breakfast every day provided local information and we had amazing conversation. We extended our stay one more day we were having such a great time and it was such a lovely place!

The view is spectacular and unparalleled! The breakfastz are fabulous! Don and Sharron made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. They truly care about your overall experience, not just with them but also in Homer/Fritz Creek area. If I can get back here to stay again, I will! It's well worth the trip!!!

Nicest B&B in Alaska

I've stayed in bed and breakfasts all over the state of Alaska and timber bay is the nicest by far. The owners are very nice and really seem to enjoy making your stay the best it can be. Breakfast was excellent and something different everyday we stayed. I give it a 11 out of 10. My wife and I will definitely stay there again when we're in the area.

This is by far the best B&B we have ever stayed at. Room was very nice and spacious. Very clean and comfortable. The hosts were great and very helpful. They really enjoyed having guests. Got good recommendations what to see around the area. Breakfasts were fantastic. We hope to be back soon again. Thanks for a very nice stay.

From the time we stepped through the door of this B and B you felt like you were a star. We were waited on hand and foot. If you had an earlier time for breakfast then the scheduled time they would make you breakfast before you leave. These people were very special. I felt like part of their family

Views, views, and views

Beautiful views from our room and the entire home. Only little thing was that our room's ceiling was open to the hallway and we could hear everyone in the house. Not terrible, but noticeable. Yummy breakfasts, lots of food. A wide variety of breakfast syrups :-) Welcoming hosts, very knowledgeable of the area.
