The room features a comfortable queen bed with an electric blanket, along with a television, mini fridge, kettle and tea and coffee facilities. A portable heater is also provided to keep the room warm and comfortable during Tasmania`s cooler months.
Please note that this room does not have a private ensuite.

Guests have access to the guesthouse`s shared bathroom facilities. These are divided into separate, individually lockable spaces, giving guests privacy while using them.

The shared facilities include a full bathroom with a shower, toilet and vanity, a separate toilet, and an additional separate shower. Each space can be individually locked while in use.

Guests also have access to the fully equipped communal kitchen, where you`ll find everything needed to prepare meals during your stay. A light complimentary breakfast is also provided.

As this room is positioned at the front of the building, close to the communal kitchen and nearest the street, it can experience more noise than some of our other rooms. You may hear guests using the kitchen or moving through the nearby common areas, along with street and traffic noise, particularly during the daytime. We recommend considering this before booking if you`re an especially light sleeper.

If you`re travelling by car, one parking space is available per room in the guesthouse car park.
Public bus services operate from nearby streets, while taxis and rideshare services are readily available, making it easy to explore Hobart and the surrounding region without needing to drive.

Edinburgh Guesthouse is a boutique guesthouse comprising nine private guest rooms across multiple floors. This particular room does not have its own ensuite, so guests use the shared bathroom facilities within the guesthouse. Each bathroom, toilet and shower space is separately lockable for privacy while in use.

This room is located at the front of the building and close to the communal kitchen. Due to its position, you may hear other guests preparing meals, talking or moving through the nearby common areas. Being the room closest to the street also means street and traffic noise can be noticeable, particularly during the daytime. We want guests to be aware of this before booking.
Quiet hours throughout Edinburgh Guesthouse are 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, and we ask all guests to be considerate of others during these hours.

For guest safety and property security, cameras operate at the entrances and in selected corridors. There are no cameras inside bedrooms, bathrooms or other private spaces.

Please also note that renovations are occurring on the lower floor of the guesthouse. You may occasionally see tradespeople or hear construction noise during normal daytime working hours.
