First things first, I got a WhatsApp message harassing me to click a link to confirm my booking a month or two before my trip- this was a scammer and when I reached out to the hotel, first thing, the guy on the phone was not nice and told me to WhatsApp him, secondly he told me this has been happening to other guests and it’s scam. My question is, how did a scammer get all my information including name, number and details of my stay.. this has never happened to me off any booking from Expedia so I do believe staff is in on it. Staff was not as polite or accommodating as other places we stayed in Vietnam. For example, our room’s bolt did not work and when I notified staff, instead of offering to switch the room like every other place we’ve ever stayed at would for this issue if occurred, I was told “it’s fine no one can get in from the outside” yet there’s this book in the room absolving staff of any fault of any valuables or guest property went missing. For this reason as well, we did not get our room serviced for our two night stay. Also, when leaving the hotel, I mistakenly pulled and pushed the wrong door and the staff behind me laughed at me.. the surrounding area also was sketch. The AC does not work well and room does not get cold enough. It’s a nonsmoking place yet our room smelled like cigarette smoke often. Do not book this place. I do not recommend.
