'Beautiful historic hotel. Just stayed one night but would stay again. Unique property with old timey touches, like stationary in the room. Staff was very helpful. Brought our luggage up to the room for us and helped load the car when we were ready to leave.'

'the valet was good, but expensive. my room was very clean, but the tv’s signal kept going out. they still use cable, so with the fact that the connection kept being lost we couldn’t even use the tv. the beds were comfortable though'

'When I tried to get a cart to load my stuff I was told I had to have the Valet staff come with me to load the cart. I did not feel comfortable so we made 3 trips to load the car to leave and drive 7 hours. I was told no when the people in the room across from me come out of their room with a loaded cart and no staff... Hmmm just me or is it truly the policy???'

'What a special place! If you are into unique, historical and elegant, this is your place. The bed was comfortable and shower nice and hot. The gardens were beautiful. The only let down was we thought there would be a made-to-order breakfast but the cereal, muffins, coffee and juice were fine. There was only one other couple staying so it was quiet and peaceful.'

'Dominque was amazing through the check in process. And the gentlemen/and young lady this morning was also helpful. I do applaud that they were all professionally put together as you don’t see that quote often anymore. The rooms were nice and clean. The only downfall was it confusing connecting to the WiFi.
